A few days before the tournament, at the clan gathering hall.
The Elders gathered to discuss the progress of the Paisen disappearance inquiry.
”Grand Elder, has there been any progress in the inquiry about my grandson?”
Asked Jull, one of the seniors who had criticized Rainer at the previous clan reunion.
”Hhhuuuh”
The Grand Elder sighed, his main suspect was very slippery and he couldn't get anything out of him.
”We have several suspects, Jull, but they all have some kind of alibi and without evidence we can't do anything...” He replied.
”Someone has killed my grandson and that's all you got?”
Jull was furious at the clan's negligence over this case.
”...!”
The Grand Elder suddenly had an idea.
If everything went well, he would get rid of Rainer, and Jull would have someone to blame for the disappearance of his grandson.

*Boom*
The door of Rainer's bedroom was smashed into pieces after being struck.
The force of the blow shattered it, the small splinters rushed at such speed that they looked like sharp knives in pursuit of their prey.
Rainer, who was cultivating quietly, sensed a killing intent coming in his direction, so he was able to escape from the attack on time.

Jull was burning in rage, at this point whatever Rainer was about to say to him would be equal to air.
Jull's figure appeared from what remained of the bedroom entrance.
”It's your time to die!”
Jull rushed toward Rainer as he infused his spiritual energy into his fist.
He was on Initial Core Formation stage, his spiritual energy gathered at his Astral Gate and had solidified into his own Spiritual Core.
Although it could sound simple, not everyone was able to form their spiritual core, in the Lorren clan only the Elders had formed their core and had breached through the second cultivation stage: Core Formation Stage!
Rainer had nothing to do against Jull, who surpassed him in strength and experience, he was like a powerless bunny against a ferocious wolf.
No matter how desperately Rainer tried to move, his body didn't respond.

”Jull, control yourself! You cannot take justice by your own hand within the clan!Rainer will be judged by all the Elders and his punishment for murdering Paisen and the guard at the entrance of the city will be pronounced.
Said Gunm, sounding as if he were on Rainer's side...
”You shameless bastard! He has killed my witness and he is blaming me...as they say, the devil knows more for being old than for being the devil....”
Rainer had never expected such a direct move against him, without a witness, all the evidence pointed to him!
”Gunm, get out of the way and let me tear that brat so that my grandson can rest in peace!”
Of course, Jull would not renounce the opportunity to avenge his grandson with his own hands. The Grand Elder was only a little stronger than the average Elders from the clan, he could not fight and 'defend' Rainer at the same time.
