3 The Day has Come (1/2)

The morning of the next day.

The sun could barely be seen on the horizon behind the clouds that hid it, but in the Lorren Clan there was a festive air, after all today would be the day when the young master would awaken as Guardian!

All the Clan's Elders were euphoric to know what spiritual beast Yren would awaken.

”We have high expectations set on you, Yren.” Said Zin, Rainer and Yren's uncle as well as the current head of the Lorren Clan.

”It's a shame your brother Rainer doesn't have a bit of your talent huh....” The Elders couldn't help but sigh at the mention of Rainer, both of them came from the same parents but they were still so disparate...

Everyone in the Clan knew that Rainer would be a mere mortal if it weren't for the tiny amount of spiritual energy he possessed, which would allow him to cast out any of the weakest spiritual skills, but he would be unable to break through the threshold and summon his spiritual beast.

”Don't worry, Clan head, I guarantee you I will summon a strong spiritual beast that will allow us to seize the entire Luo Region.”

”Hahahaha... Be ambitious Yren, but beware, you never know what the future may hold.”

The Clan head saw the flames of greed in Yren's eyes, although he had such talent,he was in deep animosity towards Rainer.

The Clan head would understand it if they were children,however, they would be adults tomorrow and will be able to have their own families.

Although Rainer showed he was quite clever since childhood, it wouldn't help the Clan at wartime. Why do you need numbers and words when you' ve got fists anyway?

The disappointment increased when they discovered at the age of six that Rainer possessed a tiny amount of spiritual energy, making him unable to summon his spiritual beast from the Astral world.

Yren, who was left in the sidelines until then, used his talent to encourage his relatives to tease Rainer.

There was no day that Rainer would not be beaten up by them, being reduced to a simple sack of boxing.

However, he did not expect that today would be a completely different request.

”I want Alisha!” Yren shouted loudly.

Both the Clan's head and elders eyes widened like dishes in response to Yren's request.

All those who were present knew about the special connection that existed between Rainer and Alisha, the only support Rainer had in the clan was Alisha,Rainer's servant.

”Mmm...” The head of the clan didn't known how to answer to such a request.

”Yren....aren't Rainer and Alisha very close already?” The head of the clan attempted to intervene in Yren's desires.

”But uncle, I adore Alisha! I wish I could be with her!” Yren didn't seem like giving in to the clan head's warning.

” Yeah, Father, Yren heartily loves her.They're a splendid match”.

Ferris, who was the son of the current clan's head and Yren's faithful dog, said.Yren only had to name Rainer to have Ferris call his fellows and give Rainer a ”visit”.

”But...” The Clan head knew that this was all just another of Yren's sadist schemes to annoy Rainer.

This is how things work in this world, the stronger takes everything from the weaker and the weaker is the nourishment of the stronger.

But he continued to hesitate as they were both siblings and that's a very close bond,he was always hoping that Yren would cease his animosity towards Rainer and both would collaborate to lead the Lorren Clan to a major scenario.

The Yun Province was, after all, a huge wilderness area and and the Lorren clan was just one ant in comparison with those Central clans.

”It's not okay?.She's just a girl serving at the clan!” The Elders tried to stand behind Yren in an effort to earn his favor.

And thus Alisha's fate was signed in stone.
