”I can surely do that, but are you sure that you want me to do the Enhancement at this place?” Jiang Tian's coarse voice echoed once again, both father and daughter stared at each other in confusion for a moment before enlightenment struck.
All eyes focused on the three of them, and if Jiang Tian showcased his talent and skills towards the rare and valuable occupation of an Enhancement Articifer, it was possible that one of these people would report it to the influences in this City.
And once that happened, the two of them would have to contest against those influences to prevent them from stealing Jiang Tian away from their hands.
This realization confused and amused them at the same time, was he so confident in his skills, that everyone in the City would follow after him once he showcased them?
”You're quite an interesting person since you're that confident in your skills, let's bring this somewhere else...” The middle-aged man slightly smiled and dragged the two of them away inside a luxurious inn. With his reputation and influence, such a thing was simple and soon, the three of them stood inside an Intermediate Articifer Room.
The Articifer Room was complete with equipment for all branches of artificers. The middle-aged man pressed some buttons and metalworking tools emerged from the wall.
An anvil made from a metal that resembled platinum appeared on the floor. On top of the anvil was a hammer that shone in a bluish cold light. The middle-aged man smirked, his daughter approached Jiang Tian and said.
”Enhancement is a job that requires precision, coordination, and a discerning mind, without all these three, there's no way that someone could possibly become an Enhancement Articifer.” Her eyes sparkled in a hinting light and Jiang Tian lightly smirked.
”So the young mistress is saying that I should prove if I have those three qualities before I could work on enhancing your weapons?”
The young woman nodded her head, the middle-aged man behind her started at Jiang Tian with astonished eyes. Usually, mortals like him were stupid and crass. Mostly due to the fact that they didn't receive any proper education. However, Jiang Tian was surprisingly a man that could catch hints and think in terms of common sense.
Jiang Tian inwardly smirked, after he was beaten up, he closely studied the Enhancement System and realized that the work of Enhancement Articifers wasn't so simple. It was a complex process that required complete concentration and decisiveness.
He cannot blame them for asking him to prove himself. After all, once an Enhancement fails, not only the weapon would be destroyed, all the materials used would be thrown out of the window.
The materials used were rare items that could only be sought but not found. Demand was higher than the supply and each material lost meant a huge loss that cannot possibly compare to Jiang Tian's measly life.
Jiang Tiang stared at the soft sword on the young woman's waist as numerous system windows floated up in the air and displayed information regarding the soft sword's name, description, innate effects, additional effects, hidden effects and even the materials used in making the sword were displayed right before Jiang Tian's eyes.

The two saw Jiang Tian's knitted eyebrows as they simultaneously lifted small smiles on their faces. The middle-aged man's cultivation enabled him to see through people and he understood that Jiang Tian wasn't bluffing. His daughter beside him merely smiled and didn't interrupt Jiang Tian's probing eyes.
