2 System? Choosing A New World?! (1/2)

After I wake up I hear a voice by my head, ”Haha, congrats. You are now a host to one of the three most powerful systems in existence” This bastard looks down at me after I finally finished gripping my head and crying in pain.

”I'll give you a moment to regain your bearings but we don't have long. Well no, that's a lie, you have plenty of time, I don't. I have about 10 minutes before I have to run with what is left of my power, and I would like to leave before that.” I looked at him but had trouble because of how I still felt some of the pain.

”Well you look like you're doing better so I will give you a decent run down while I have time, your system will tell you the rest.” He inhales and exhales a few times before he continues and speaks at a rapid pace.

”Okay so, you are Joseph, you are human, you know John yeah? Well maybe not personally but from the show? Yeah, I put him there. Ah, no let me keep going I'm on a roll, I'll have time when I'm done talking to answer you. Maybe. Anyway where was I? Yeah, so John. He was supposed to be thrown in that world with nothing, but I liked his character. Plus he almost died so it worked out.

Anyway, I gave him a bunch of shit, a week to prepare things to bring with him and say goodbye which is one of the most taboo things at my old business, gave him one of the three systems which is the most taboo thing that I could have done. Wanna know why?

They put people like you and John into worlds that they know they will barely survive in, hell man, they don't even get the languages of the worlds? It's fucked up man. I was tired of seeing these people from everywhere suffer so me being one of the highest up decided that as soon as the one who created the systems died I would act.

Wouldn't you know it, he died about a month or so ago, and they needed me to find a new person for a show so bada bing bada boom, I stole all the systems so that they couldn't use them on their so called champions and now they can't remake them, hell I could barely change the one for John to make it be hidden from everything but John.”

He breathed in again before continuing, ”So that leads me to you, they fired me not long after I got John to that world because it was blatant that I was helping him. Not too long ago they discovered I stole the systems as well but the damn fools didn't realize I stole them before I left. So I gave one to you after I hid the other one in a place that is extremely hidden and only a special person can get it, but once they do it'll be game on. Your system is by no means weak, in fact yours is in the middle and John's is actually the weakest, the reason being is that John's can't travel across even a universe(yet) let alone a multiverse (yet).”

Did he whisper some things in there or is it just me?

”So anyway your system is much like those other systems, Shop, Gacha, Quests, inventory, etc etc. There is even an AI for it but it has not been initialized yet so once I am done talking you'll do that. This system is also one that will constantly get stronger as you get stronger, whatever world you travel to you will be able to have powers from it, Chakra, Ki, Mana, whatever. You will have all of these at the same time so if you tried to use, lets say, a fire spell and shadow clones at the same time they would both draw from their individual power.

Also if you have ever read those system manga's imagine this one like Kumo desu ga mixed with the one from Death March. Here I will give you an example, lets say you get to level 10 in a skill, it will be maxed out. Some skills have things they can evolve into , like Jump to leap or maybe something like fire resistance to fire immunity. Sometimes you will even get some that will have a derivative skill while still keeping the old one, like you max out sprint and still have it, but you also acquire Surge. There are even skills that are passive and Jobs, but I won't give you all the answers.”

He inhales and exhales a bit, ”Get it?”

Jesus christ I have gone too long without cracking a joke. This information dump has made me feel like I'm having withdraws. ”Yeah got it, I have one of three systems, mine is second in how OP it is, it is like Kumo desu ga and Death march had a baby.”

He sighs, ”Close enough. Any questions?”

”Nope, other than starting my system” I ask him because I want to get to travelling already.

”Good. Just say boot system or something like that aloud or in your head. Forewarning you, you will look crazy if you talk to it aloud in public. Also tip from me, buy an analysis skill from the shop ASAP, it will help you with one of your skills, especially if you get it to a high enough level. Well I am off now. Good luck kid.” He snapped his fingers twice before disappearing.

Okay, well so I planned on getting an analysis skill anyway since it's a staple. I mean what kind of world travelling character doesn't have one?

Woah! A screen actually popped up in front of me, it looks just like a console from computers right now with it having a black screen reading things off.

How painful and how long do we have left? I don't really want to be left with just a second left if there are 10 seconds left.

Ugh, I hate being in pain... Fine do it, I have some plans for my dimension, like obviously making it my home base for when I travel.

Wait don't fi-”FUUUUUU-RRRRRRRR.” I attempted to curse but the pain caused me to grind my teeth together, or at least I felt like I was grinding my teeth. I feel like I start tearing up as well, the pain started out as feeling like I was stabbed from the side of my head, but then it grew in pain till it felt like someone was moving the knife around. It was at this point that I actually passed out from the pain.

'Greetings host, it has now been 9 years and 3 months and 25 days since you fell unconscious. Informing host, there is going to be some pain host will experience until host arrives onto a world which will require host to spend approximately 24 hours to finish the acclimatization.'

Ugh, I really slept for 9 years? Jesus. I wish I could say that was my best sleep I've ever had but that really isn't an option considering I was in constant pain. Hell I am still in pain, it feels like someone is constantly flicking my brain.

I sigh as I try to get myself together and push past this damned pain.
