”[Collapsing Fist: Version Nil].”
Silence. There was an eerie silence after Shi Shisi said the name of the technique. The sounds of wind breaking or the crackling of the magma couldn't be heard. It was as if the hammer wasn't even there.
But then...
Bang!
A loud shockwave could be heard from Shi Shisi's fist as he looked at Shi Li with a mischievous smile.
”Hehe. I prepared this technique just for you.”
In an instant, a large force pushed Shi Li and his hammer away, making him zoom through the air and land on the ground with a hard thud.
Shi Li hurriedly stood up as he looked at Shi Shisi with shock. Even he though he was riddled with scratches here and there, he decided to ask Shi Shisi first.
”W-W-W...What the fuck was that?”
Shi Shisi stood where he was and smiled as he raised his right fist. ”Oh that? That was the final move of the Collapsing Fist, [Version Nil]. Let's just say that the force was compressed to a point where you couldn't sense it was there and instantly explode not long after with a force multiple times higher than before.”
Shi Li looked at Shi Shisi with a hint of surprise. ”So the destructive aura in the tournament back then wasn't the final move?”
Shi Shisi shook his head. ”Not at all. It could be said that the destructive aura was just a precursor to this technique. Even if I coated my body in destructive aura just like what I did in [Destructive Incarnation], its power cannot surpass [Version Nil]...unless I combine both of them.”
Shi Li sighed as he felt like he lost all will to fight. ”You know what? I forfeit. Even though we've only exchanged like three moves, I already feel like I'm at the losing end.”
Shi Shisi raised his eyebrows as he put on a grim expression. ”Giving up so easily? In real fights, it's either you kill or be killed. What do you want to choose?”
Shi Li's heart thumped as he heard Shi Shisi's question. Throughout the past three months of his cultivation, his life had been smooth sailing. His life was tranquil, he could focus on cultivating and even take time to talk with his family...which is almost all the people around him!
In his previous life, many parents sacrificed their lives in order to let their children live better lives as they toil away with that goal in mind. So how could a problem like Shi Shisi being stronger than him be worse than that, if he wanted to be strong, then he should go beyond that obstacle!
Without hesitation, Shi Li slammed his hammer a few more times on the ground, forming more magma pools for him to use. He then willed the magma to form multiple needle-like structures that numbered in the hundreds with the amount of magma Shi Li created.
”If you say it that way...” Shi Li responded as he was forming the needles.
”I'd rather be the one killing.”
Zoom!
With a reignited purpose, Shi Li charged towards Shi Shisi with a part of the needles following him. Shi Shisi looked at this with some surprise before smiling.
”That's what I'm talking about!”
Bang!
In an instant, an aura that seemed to destroy anything covered Shi Shisi's body from head to toe, forming an incorporeal set of light gray armor over his body.
”[Collapsing Fist: Destructive Incarnation].”
He then charged towards Shi Li with his fists covered in a spiralling destructive aura.
All of a sudden, Shi Li jumped using his hammer as a lever to increase his air time. He then willed the magma needles to head towards Shi Shisi as he shouted.
”Even though I just thought up of this technique out of whim, be the first one to taste its power! [Ardent Stinger Swarm]!”
Not long after, the magma needles simultaneously headed towards various parts of Shi Li's body at a speed that could be said to be quite fast.
Shi Shisi stopped in his tracks as he looked at the wave of magma needles heading towards his way. It was impossible for him to dodge it because there were only small gaps between the needles, leaving him no choice but to...
