”Ah fuck...my head...” Shi Li woke up on the training ground with his head feeling like it was stabbed with needles multiple times.
He slowly stood up as he endured the pain he was experiencing and did a few basic stretches. After a bit of stretching, the pain in his head was alleviated slightly, letting him recall the things that happened yesterday.
All of a sudden, he smiled lightly because he remembered that he was able to break through to the peak of the Second Stage thanks to a lucky spark of inspiration. He then wanted to repair the two techniques he grabbed from the library, but the cost made him overdraft his mental energy, making him fall unconscious again.
”I never want to do that again. But since it happened anyway, what kind of technique is the [Lava Shield] now that it has been adapted to my foundational technique?”
Shi Li looked at the two books that were placed on the ground in front of him and saw that one was more vibrant and colorful than the other one, making him presume that this one was the repaired technique.
