1 Prologue (2/2)

An hour passed by, nothing happened.

A day passed by, nothing happened.

Getting tired of closing his eyes, he opened it, just to be greeted by a blinding light.

He squinted his eyes in an instant, trying to get accustomed to the light that surrounded him.

By the time he got accustomed, he was left speechless. His surroundings weren't filled with light. There were beds, tables, chairs, food, doors, and even windows to the beautiful outside world.

With this, he hurriedly sat up from the bed he was laying on and started to touch himself in different places. He could feel his body heat, his heartbeat, and even the headaches he got before he died.

Placing his hand onto his head, he muttered. ”Am I...alive?”

Looking around for a bit, he found a mirror that was the height of a normal human. He went in front of it and examined his body closely. His facial features were still the same. Pitch-black irises, wavy black hair, an extremely masculine chin, and a face that would make women faint in pleasure once they look at it.

But in terms of his body, it was not the same like before. His muscles were scrawny, he even thought that it wouldn't be able to lift a kilogram even with two hands.

After his quick examination, he sat down on his bed and deduced some stuff.

First, something happened to him after the lightning incident.

Second, the treasured muscles he used to have are all gone.

Third, he's in some sort of makeshift hospital.

But the last deduction was the one that mattered.

”I'm still...alive.”
