5 Poor Gatekeeper (2/2)
A look of relief came swept over the face of the gatekeeper as he received this much needed reprieve.
A cunning smile crept on Lili's face as she continued. ”Good thing there are no other people around.”
The ray of light in the storm turned into out to be a feint. The expectation and hope caused previously by the young succubus only resulted in a greater crushing force, bringing him further into the depths of despair. What had previously felt like a shot to the gut, now felt like a shot to the groin. Nay! It was more like having a hand extended to him when he was down, accepting the help, and then be pushed back onto the ground and kicked for good measure. If not for the small amount of remaining face he had to pretend he had in this situation, he would have already dropped to his knee in defeat.
Eventually, he was able to collect himself before gesturing to the entrance saying, ”Please enjoy your stay at Sweetgrass.”
Not giving him an out so easily, Lili continued and said, ”We haven't paid our entrance fee yet, if we entered now, it would set a bad example to those that had to pay along with your subordinates. I wouldn't want to cause any trouble.”
The shamelessness that came out of those tiny lips was uncanny. The gatekeeper couldn't help but yell in his mind, 'How the hell can you be thick-skinned enough to say that you don't like causing trouble?!?'
”Alright, for two children, the total will be 6 pints…” The instant he said these words, he felt a chill run from the crown of his head, all the way to the base of his feet. Beads of cold sweat ran off his head, all the way down his back.
”Two children, is it? Hmm…. I see…” mumbled Lili as a suffocating aura emanated from her body. The guards that had previously been laughing couldn't help but become alert as their instincts told them that they were in front of a dangerous predator. The tension was so dense that one could cut it with a sword.
Just as the guards were about to act, Kal gave his sister a tight hug and said, ”Good girl, good girls…” As he patted her back. Almost like magic, the pressure started to disappear as the two siblings hugged each other.
As she was calming down, Liliana was muttering aloud, ”I'm not the child, you're the child! Stupid ugly bitch-ass bald-headed troll that has his dick up his ass! I'll shove a spit up your dick hole before cutting it off and shoving it down your throat! Then I'll send you to become a choir boy, so you can have a dick again…”
The male guards couldn't help but feel an imaginary breeze in their lower bodies. All 5 soldiers couldn't believe all the vicious and vulgar things being rattled off in quick succession. They could only fear for the lives of their future children as they watched Kal work his magic.
Eventually she completely calmed down before passing 3 coins and a ceramic plate to the guards. The gatekeeper looked at the plate before handing it back with shaking hands. ”E-e-enjoy your s-t-t-tay.”
The two walked through the gate as the smaller comforted the larger one telling her how beautiful and grown-up she was.
After they had disappeared into the city, the guards couldn't help but collapse from the release of tension. ”Captain,” one of them asked, ”who were they? Should we report this to the mayor?”
The bald man just shook his head. ”That's not somebody this town can deal with.” He then asked a question of his own. ”Have you ever heard of the party of adventurers called 'Flower Garden'?”
The female guard questioned with wide eyes, ”You mean that high ranking party that was made of only beautiful, strong women?”
One of the male guards: ”You mean the group that was once one of the most powerful parties in all of Den, before it disbanded 10 years ago?”
Another guard: ”You mean that party that has been rumored to have castrated over 1000 men?”
Hearing the last comment, the bald man couldn't help but release an uncontrollable twitch from his eye before muttering, ”Yes… that Flower Garden… and that was their leader.”
They couldn't help but all feel a sense of gratefulness to the young child that saved them from the monster known as the 'big sis' of one of the most infamous parties ever.
