20 Final Battle (2/2)

Tohsaka quickly escaped while bringing Shinji. As she escaped, the remaining hand of that giant still tried to capture her again. Sensing the approaching hand, she shouted in hurry toward Saber and Berserker to destroy the Grail quickly. Saber and Berserker nodded at each other as both prepared to use their Noble Phantasms.

”Come forth, SHITENNŌ !” Four weapons made of lightning and three avatars with same of her looks appeared behind Minamoto no Yorimitsu, a yellow axe, a red bow, a blue polearm, a red sword. Each avatars were holding a weapon. She herself was holding a red sword, as she activated her noble phantasm.

”EX..” saber raised her sword high up in the air as she prepared to release her noble phantasm.

”GOOU SHOURAI - TENMOUKAIKAI”

”..CALIBUR”

Both Noble Phantasm arrived at same time on the abomination. As both collided at once, a great explosion of magical energy was created and blasted the giant to smithereens. The destruction continued to the Greater Grail connected to the giant. Thus a newly-formed Greater Grail was destroyed as quick as it was formed.

”I admit, you two are powerful warriors.” Gilgamesh said, acknowledging their strengths after fighting them for so long in Reality Marble.

””...”” Both Emiya and Rafi were gasping for breaths as they stood firmly supported only by their own willpower.

After they brought Gilgamesh to Emiya's Reality Marble, the fight turned to their favor at first. As in the Reality Marble Emiya could quickly summoned his countless weapons to counter Gilgamesh's.

But then it started to change as Rafi was bound by Enkidu. Although he was no demigod as per others perceived, but his bloodline is of Hagoromo's, Kaguya's son. Kaguya was considered a God in the Shinobi world, even Hagoromo was also revered as one through his feats. For a being like that, divinities were flowing in their blood. Thus Rafi could also be considered a demigod, though was not based on Nasuverse.

As he is not a proper demigod in Nasuverse, the effect of Enkidu on him was weakened, allowing Rafi to break free as he used Almighty Push. Rafi activated Rinnegan as his situation got worse and revealed another new mystic eyes the world. By controlling a repulsive and attractive force, Rafi could evaded Enkidu and kept noble phantasms from touching him. Although his continued usage of both EMS before and current Rinnegan drained his energy pool in his Fantasy Seed.

As the fight went on, Gilgamesh realized things went to worse for him, thus he released Ea from Gate of Babylon earlier than Rafi had predicted. Rafi, seeing Gilgamesh was about to swing Ea at them, quickly arrived beside Emiya as he used the remaining energy left in Fantasy Seed to power up Almighty Push for resisting Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish.

After an energy blast that seemed to split the sky and earth, Emiya's Reality Marble was destroyed and both sides were back to real world in exhausted state. After they were back, they heard a loud explosion from the Grail direction, thus both sides realized the Grail was destroyed, successfully ending Gilgamesh's twisted desire for now.

”But it ends now. Although the Grail is destroyed, I still can build it again later. It is a parting, brave warriors. Then..Die!” Gilgamesh was about to hurl some noble phantasms at them as a black hole formed behind him, and started to pull him in.

”What...”

”A remnant hole of the Grail?!!” Emiya and Rafi were shocked at the appearance of Grail's remnant. Although Rafi was stunned by something else in his mind.

[It is a good chance to absorb the Grail, Host. Only by entering the remnant hole of the Grail, can Host successfully completed the Quest.]

'Why don't you tell me sooner, [Claire]?! If I know, I can just wait outside without needing to battle Gilgamesh this hard. And I have promised to Sakura after all, how can I renege on it now.'

[Host only need to spend sometimes there, as the System may bring Host to outside world after Host has cleared the Quest. Besides, as Host is inherently lazy, knowing this information in advance will prevent Host from getting more battle experiences.]

'Kuhh, you are really a dark System, [Claire]. But is it only for sometimes in there? No lies again?'

[Yes Host.]

'Fine then. I will just replace Emiya when he is about to be pulled by Gilgamesh. Consider this as building a good karma tie with him.'

'Well, Minamoto no Yorimitsu, I will be going for some times. I will not be able to meet or contact you and Sakura in these times. Please take care of Sakura and protect her in secret. And tell her that I will be back, as I will not die easily. Oh yeah, please kill Shinji when Tohsaka-san has saved him. Make it like an accidental death, maybe like a crushed heart or the likes? It seems I am pretty bad, Ha Ha Ha. Um, I will only leave for sometimes I guess, so don't worry too much, Minamoto no Yorimitsu.' Rafi ended his thought with a last message to Berserker, as he sent it through a Master-Servant link.

”Wait...devouring me won't get you anyting...ahh!!!” Gilgamesh was devoured whole by that hole, leaving only an Enkidu hurling outward looking for an anchor. Seeing the chain aimed at Emiya, Rafi quickly pushed Emiya aside as the chain got wrapped around his body in the end. Knowing that was the final chance for entering the Grail, Rafi was acting as though he was pulled by the chain toward the hole. Rafi then stabbed Gungnir on Gilgamesh's forehead when he came closer to him, effectively ended the threat Gilgamesh might posed if both of them ended up safe inside the Grail.

After destroying the Grail, Saber started to disappear in motes of holy light. As she looked at Tohsaka that was sitting weakly on the ground, she couldn't helped smiled slightly.

'Our contract ends here, Rin. You and Shirou are the winner. If possible, I want to stay here to see what will happen between you two.

And that lazy pervert, it is a pity I can't see that smug face again. Although it is short, I quite enjoy our times together. There is no one that is so daring to tease me before, when I was a King. He said he wanted to surprise me today, I guess I will miss the surprise, Rafi. It is a pity, I really want to see your surprise for me. ' She disappeared calmly as she was chuckling after remembering a certain pervert.

Tohsaka was still fixated after hearing Archer's voice before, thus she missed the scene where Saber disappeared. She put the unconscious Shinji beside the bush after covering him with her wrecked coat. Unknown to her someone approached Shinji with an intent to kill him. She then ran scouring the forest as she looked around for Archer.

”Archer...” Tohsaka gasped for breath after she found him beside a hill.

”..it is a pity, but this is it. Give up on this Grail, Rin.” After a bit of silence, Archer replied calmly to her.

”...” Tohsaka seemed a bit sad hearing him.

”Heh” Archer chuckled lightly knowing her sadness.

”What is that, why are you laughing at times like this?!”

”Sorry, I can't stand it seeing your state now. I am just amused seeing my and your terrible appearance, Rin.” Archer faced her as he was laughing slightly much to Tohsaka annoyance.

”Archer, would you make a contract with me once again?”, Tohsaka said hopefully after a bit of silence.

”...I can't, Rin.”

”...”

”I am afraid I don't deserve it. Besides, I don't have any more wish. My battle ends here, Rin.”

”...But..but that means you will...as long as times passes, you forever will not be saved.” Tohsaka cried as she realized what fate he would went through all the times.

”Ah..” Archer scratched his head a bit after seeing her crying face.

”Rin, take care of me well. You know right, I am a bit careless sometimes. Please help me through it, Rin.” He said gently to her as though soothing her chaotic feelings.

”...Archer...Mn, I know. I will try hard so that he doesn't end up like you. I believe he will also try hard becoming himself. So please you too, Archer.” She wiped her tears as she felt a new motivation rushed inside her. She vowed in her heart to help and to accompany Emiya Shirou so that he would not ended up like Archer.

”I've got my answer. Don't worry, Tohsaka. From now, I will also struggle hard without losing my heart again.” Archer smiled gently to her as he disappeared in motes of lights.

”...” Tohsaka felt her chest became a bit tight seeing his gentle smile, it was like what Emiya Shirou did usually to her.

”...pity I can't cry over him.” Tohsaka wiped her flowing tears. She then turned around as she heard someone called her. She then became stunned after seeing Emiya's somewhat worn-out and distressed face.

”Let's go home, Tohsaka...” Emiya said weakly as he smiled, though it seemed a bit forced.

”Um.” Tohsaka replied while looking confused seeing his distressed face. In the end of battle, as dawn appeared on the horizon, the group went back to Emiya household. Although now it lacked Rafi, Berserker and Saber.
