59 Chapter 55 - Sweetly (1/2)

Kasumi walked quickly to sit next to Ryota. She tried to ignore the whispering around her, but it soon began to mess with her head. Was she really imperfect? Was she not the best? Who dares to defy me? She's going to kill her sister for what she's done to her!

She kept these thoughts inside and instead smiled at the handsome prince in front of her, ”I'm sorry that you had to see that. It was just a simple sibling fight...”

When she saw that Ryota didn't respond and kept a straight face, she grew worried. Does he hate her now? NO!

She laughed sweetly and pressed herself more against the table, trying to win him over, ”You were right.. my sister does have a great voice...”

Kasumi almost threw up. She couldn't believe that she was complimenting her stupid sister! But, she would do anything for this prince. And she would to anything to GET with this prince.

Ryota sighed when he heard this, 'Really? Did she really say that? I can't believe it, this arrogant slut actually complimented someone else! This is impossible for this stuck up white lotus in front of me, but she did it! I guess I should be proud, she would do anything for me, even drop her dignity.'

Ryota gave her a soft smile before saying, ”I understand. Now, don't take this the wrong way, but I have to leave. I have something important to attend to. Let's meet again?”

Kasumi was sad when he said he was going to leave, but when he spoke that last sentence her whole world lifted up, ”Yes! I would love to!”

Arata was laughing on the bed hysterically. He was rocking back and forth and his tail was wagging in the air, ”Did you see her face? DID YOU SEE IT?”

Miyu chuckled sweetly from the desk in front of the window. She was reading from a book. The book was on the history of royalty, all the scandals and families. Everything that you needed to know in the past few decades. She was researching about family relatives or deaths or even outright reasons why families might hate each other. Sadly, it wasn't so simple. Miyu could barely find anything in the book, and this frustrated her.

Miyu slammed the book on the ground, startling Arata. He stopped laughing and instead ran to her side, ”Master, are you alright?”

Miyu sighed and smiled at him, ”Yes, I am alright, Arata.”

She picked up the book and put it in its pile, ”I'm just a bit frustrated. I knew finding solid information wouldn't be easy, but it still frustrates me.”
