Jia couldn't almost finish reading.

She was almost tempted to cry out loudly to heave out the heaps of heartaches in her heart. Why did all of them had to suffer a painful love story?

Even Mr. Wayne,who appeared tough and intimidating, had underwent a more complicated love affair.

She looked at Anthon. He remained looking down at the box in the table without any movement. He did not react even after she read the letter.

They looked at each other,worried that Anthon might be just pretending to be strong.

Mr. Wayne finally stood up and hug him from the back.

”I'm sorry,Ton. If only I was persistent enough to see the midwife,I would have known the truth earlier. But that box was just recently handed to me during my last visit there. I even went to see Rosa and Greg in Bohol shortly before that box was given because the caretakertold mesome confusing things about Rosanna and Sylvia . ”

” I hired someone to investigate where they lived because I wanted to clear out everything but still she did not dare to tell me the truth. That's why I got angry with her until I read the letter. She was just honoring Sylvia's parting words. I even went there again to apologize.”

Anthon slightly turned to him but still he did not say a word.

Jim butted in,unable to hold his curiousity.

”Dad,why did you not tell us about this truth last week? ”

”Because I knew what's in your

mind.” Mr. Wayne straightforwardly replied.

All eyes turned to him wondering what was happening.

”I saw your plan,son. You asked me to do the blood test and then you plucked out Tonton's white hair. I guess by now you already have the result so that's why I continued the revelation today. ”

”Yes,dad but your story is reliable enough. ” He,then,went out to his car and brought back an envelope.

”Here.” It was the paternity DNA test.

But nobody opened it. Everything was clear enough that nobody doubted it.

”Ton,would you accept me as your brother? ”

Jim initiated for his response. He wanted to put an end to these issues which affected them in different ways for long years already. He wanted peace, forgiveness and reconciliation right then.

Finally,Anthon sat up,brushed his tears away and forced himself to speak up despite the threats of breaking into a sob.

”I should return the question to you, Jim. You suffered more than me. I grew up being loved by what I used to call as auntie and uncle. Then, I was also treated as a real son by what I knew as my parents. The only suffering that I went through was the financial hardship but they never let me feel as an outsider. ” Anthon revealed his insecurities here that's why he did not reacted.

”I don't want to steal what should have been yours. My mother was the one being loved and yearned for but your mother died with a broken heart. And, now,you have even heard how we are being valued. ”

Jim,Kuya Nap,Jia and even Mr. Wayne were caught dumbfounded.

He was right but Jim had unusually a selfless heart. Mr. Wayne couldn't even fathom the broadness of his understanding and the greatness of his heart. With this,he felt his unworthiness as a father to him.

Mr.Wayne cried again. He was too weak and coward. He grew old with the dominance of coping things negatively. He grew old being overpowered by his weakness to move on and mend the wounded areas of his life in order to be happy. He allowed his resentments to rule out his life and hurt the people who could have been his channel to get healed .And these grudges destroyed his home. These grudges towards his failures in life killed his wife and hurt his children.

Nevertheless,he was so blessed to have three sons who were gifted with forgiving hearts . But there was still someone he needed to get reconciled with. It was Casey,her daughter who was almost forgotten.
