62 Flamel (1/2)

”I've found Flamel! I told you I'd read the name somewhere before, I read it on the train coming here -- listen to this: 'Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner, Nicolas Flamel'!”

Casimir and Draco turned towards each other and shrugged. They both already knew who Nicolas Flamel was for some time already, having been reading the book about Immortality that Casimir's father had given as a present.

The man was on the bloody first page!

But why exactly were they trying to find out who Nicolas Flamel was? The couldn't possibly be eyeing the Philosopher's stone, could they?

Haha. Impossible, right?

Suddenly, Hermione jumped to her feet, looking very excited for some reason.

”Stay there!” She shouted and dashed off to somewhere Draco and Casimir couldn't see. Soon after, though, she came back holding onto thick books.

”I never thought to look in here!” She whispered excitedly. ”I got this out of the library weeks ago for a bit of light reading.”

At last she found what she was looking for.

”I knew it! I knew it!”

”Are we allowed to speak yet?” Ron grumpily said, grumbling under his breath. Hermione ignored him.

”Nicolas Flamel,” She whispered dramatically, ”is the only known maker of the Sorcerer's Stone!”
