46 Beat Them Up (2/2)
During this match, their flight teacher, Madam Hooch, was the referee. She stood in the middle of both teams and looked at each of them pointedly, particularly, at Marcus Flint. ”Now, I want a nice and fair game from all of you.”
To her words, Allen snorted and whispered quietly. ”We ain't Hufflepuffs for a reason.” This in turn, made the other chasers snicker.
After both teams mounted their brooms, Madam Hooch blew on her whistle loudly and, they all shot off, into the sky.
”And the Quaffle is taken immediately by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor! What an excellent chaser that girl is, and rather attractive, too-”
”JORDAN!”
”Sorry, Professor. ”
What in the world is this commentator doing?! Casimir had his eyebrow furrowed but, as soon as he spotted the bludger in the field, he immediately turned serious.
As of now, the quaffle was in the possession of one of the female chasers of Gryffindor but, not for long. While most people would actively try to avoid the bludger, Casimir was different. With a swift dive, he met with the bludger and swung hard, hitting it and making it fly incredibly hard towards the girl who held the quaffle.
Whack!
The quaffle hit the girl square at her back, making her broom temporarily lose control and had her drop the quaffle right into Marcus' waiting arms who then, turned his broom, flying towards the hoop and shot.
And a score!
Slytherin just took the first score in the game!
Many people were astounded. They didn't really expect one of the newest players to be so vicious in his first game, directly going on offensive.
To the Gryffindors, this was bad news but, for the Slytherins, nothing could have been better.
After a few more rounds of pummeling people with the bludger, Casimir was in the middle of having a glaring match with one of the Weasely twins when he noticed that Draco was looking quite a bit distracted as he hovered around in mid air. By now, the score was more or less evened out with Slytherin having a two point lead.
Leaving the bludger handling to Allen for a bit, Casimir headed to where Draco was and stopped beside him. ”Draco, you need to pay attention.” Casimir reminded him.
”Yes, right.” Draco shook his head as if to clear his thoughts. ”I know what I'm supposed to do, Marie. It's just that...”
”Can't help trying to see what's happening?” Casimir asked, earning him a nod from the other boy. ”That's understandable but, you need to keep your eye out for the snitch. Don't pay attention to anything else.”
”Just do what a seeker does best. Leave everything else to me.” Casimir grinned and gave Draco a reassuring thumbs up. ”Trust me!”
Then, he returned to chase after the bludger, leaving Draco staring after him as he hit the bludger directly towards the back of one of the Gryffindor player's head, nearly knocking him off his broom.
”Trust you...?” Draco muttered and began to concentrate on looking for the snitch. ”Alright.”
