Ivy was sitting beside TP's bed, she gently looked at her daughter sleeping soundly infront of her, while trying so hard to hold back her tears.

Wesley sat at the corner of the room, every stifled sound that he heard from Ivy, he felt like his heart was being crushed and cut into million pieces.

He wanted to embrace her but he knows he had no right to do so. All he can do is be with her and look after her from afar.

Wesley then heard the door opened and Leo entered the room.

He went straight to Ivy's side. Ivy looked up to him and cried.

She let out all her bottled up feelings. The pain and anguish realising that her daughter almost got ra.pe and defiled earlier within their own home.

Leo tightly hugged her and consoled her.

He had no idea what's going on, and he didn't intend to know the details, all he cared about was for Ivy to calm down and comfort his wife.

Seeing Leo comforting Ivy, Wesley felt an intense amount of envy towards Leo.

But he really do respect Ivy's decision, and so he quietly walked out of the room leaving Ivy to her husband's warmth embrace.

As the night grew late, Grandpa Chang was getting tired and had announced that he would be retreating back to his room, the guests all understood and decided to also go home and rest, thus grandpa Chang's birthday party concluded.

Grandpa Chang was so delighted and happy that he didn't bother to check on his granddaughter and head straight to his quarters.

After all, TP had always been avoiding social gatherings and always excused herself for being not feeling well that the old man didn't really mind.
