Erina smiled at both Tia and Ian then she served them freshly brewed tea.

After which, Erina immediately left and closed the shoji door behind her.

”Wow, brother Andy I didn't know your obsession with all kinds of Japanese was too much that you even married and made a house with Japanese theme.”

Tia exclaimed as soon as Erina left.

”Shut it brat, I made this house for her so she won't feel homesick.”

”Then how did the two of you meet?”

”She was my nurse when I was at the rehabilitation center.

I know a lot about japanese stuff and I can even speak a little nihongo (¹) so we easily get along. we spend most of the time together and eventually fell in love.”

Tia can't help but felt giddy when she heard his story. Then as if remembering something her face turned solemn.

”By the way, how are you?  How's your leg?”

”Same old, same old. Oh, yeah... Im supposed to be sulking now since you didn't even bother to visit me when I was sick. You ungrateful sister!”

Andy scolded. Tia pretended that she didn't hear him and quietly sips her tea.

When he was serving at the police force, Andy leads a buy bust operation involving drugs and was unfortunately shot in his right leg by the fugitives while he was on duty.

He was sent to a recuperation center where he met his wife. A rookie nurse from Japan.
