”It's because this place is the first thing that I've ever bought for myself. It has sentimental value you know.”

Tia explained then she buried her face to his chest and she hugged him tightly.

”Can I make some minor changes here? We can't have many visitors in this crammed space you know.”

Ian suggested. Yesterday, they manage to accomodate their visitors but moving and talking is kinda hard and awkward.

Tia couldn't help but agree to Ian's suggestion since she thought that what he said actually made sense.

”How about this, we'll temporarily live in my manor then we moved back again after the renovation is done..”

”Alright. Let's do that.”

Tia replied. Ian was gently stroking her back. It feels so soothing and comfortable that she felt like she's gonna fall asleep.

”Aren't you gonna go to work today?” Ian asked her.

”Nope. I don't feel like it. I'll just used up all my vacation leave for this year.”

Tia said. The truth is she doesn't want to go to work cause she wanted to wait out and let the rumour die down first.

She's not comfortable working with eyes scrutinizing and judging her.

She couldn't possibly say the truth to Ian cause she knows he already got too much on his plate right now.

Her telling him about her issues will only add to his burden.

And besides the stressful event that happened yesterday made her feel exhausted and emotionally drained.
