70 Chapter 70: the calm before the storm 2 (1/2)

Tia couldn't understand why she's being clingy towards Ian.

Whenever the thought of him leaving her came across her mind she will instantly feel upset and anxious.

'Im a strong independent woman, but why? Is it because we already have physical connection? Is that why I feel this way? Ugh... Relationship is too troublesome.'

Ian sat quietly at the dining table intently watching Tia as she made animated face while cooking.

It's her cute and adorable habit to make face as she ”brainstorm” alone.

After his emotional breakdown, Ian has calmed down but deep inside he is still nervous that Tia might not forgave him from what he had done to her.

Although it is an accident, he still almost cause her her life even he can't forgive himself.

After half an hour Tia walked in carrying a tray with homemade omurice (¹) and orange juice.

She had an exceptional talent for cooking, and although the dish is quite easy and basic to make she still manage to cook it extra tasty and flavorful.

Since her fainting incident, Ian haven't have an appetite to eat anything but since Tia especially made a breakfast for him, he happily ate it.

He swears that if things work out between the two of them he would have her cook for him everyday and he will be the happiest man in the world if that time really comes.

They both ate silently, there is an obvious underlying tension between the two of them.

They both seem unbothered by the awkward silence, but it's as if the calm before the storm, after their meal, Tia slowly went and sat on Ian's lap.

She held his hand and looked sincerely at his beautiful face.
