Tia looked slightly upset as she thinks about TP's circumstances.

She wants her best friend to have an ideal romantic relationship and not just have casual hookups.

She thought Ian's friend was sincere when he confessed.

'Too bad she have so many emotional baggage when it comes to love.' she helplessly sighed.

Ian was sitting at a couch not too far away from Tia, quietly observing her.

He missed her so much but he's still afraid to stay close to her. His mental state was not really stable right now.

When he talked to her earlier, it was all due to his sudden impulse to coax her.

But now that he has calmed down he started to distant himself again.

Tia notice his unwavering gaze, then she frowned.

”Why are you sitting over there? Come sit with me here.”

She motioned for him to sit beside her on the hospital bed.

Ian just shook his head. He couldn't bring himself to come closer to her cause he's afraid that he might get triggered and hurt her again.

'It's enough that I can be with you and watch over you.'

He thought. Just being at the same room with her, although he can't hold her, it's way better than not seeing her at all.

Tia saw the reluctance in his ink-blank eyes so she decided to tease him.
