Charlie stayed around, he was scared that since Ian is emotionally unstable right now, he might suddenly get triggered and attacked Kenny.

He was shocked to hear about what happened to Ian. He had no idea what his best friend had went through before.

He suddenly remembered that there was a time when his parents limit him for visiting Ian when they were just kids.

He asked his parents why, but they just told him that Ian got sick and was recuperating.

One time, there was a sick looking cat in the courtyard where they were playing.

Little Ian picked up the cat and then throw it hard on the tree. The cat crashed on the tree and loudly cried and Ian laughed hysterically.

Ever since then, he had subconsciously feared Ian.

After two hours of their ”session” Kenny started to give Ian his evaluation.

”Bro, the reason you built this place is a subconscious manifestation of what you had experienced before....

I take it that you use it to torture people right?I can see the scalpel and other equipments around. You're unconsciously repeating the abuse that you had experienced...”

”Also I heard you have obsessions with secret passages and concealed compartments, I think its because little Tian-Tian's adventure trope lingers in your head....”

Whenever they meet, Charlie will tell him about how awesome Ian's manor was and how it feels to be like in a spy movie everytime he went there.
