Tia quietly sat at the far end of the car. She had no idea where her boss is taking her. She stole glances to him who was busy reading the stock index with his ipad.

Bored, Her mind drifted back to the time where her mom was still alive, her mom was a huge fan of Japanese food, so whenever they had saved a little money, they will go to a local Japanese restaurant and they will happily share a bento meal.

She can clearly remembered that one time when she happens to saw a poster in that japanese restaurant. There was quote written on it.

”You can't buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream and that's pretty much the same thing.”

She pointed the interesting quote to her mom. Her mom just gently smiled at her. After they are done eating, her mom called out the waiter and ordered a matcha parfait.

She knows that that dessert was quite expensive for them to afford. But her mom insisted that they ate the parfait together.

As a young girl she enjoyed that shared meal with her mom. And that joyous and harmonious memory was embedded to her mind.

Ever since her mom died, Japanese food and ice cream have officially become her comfort food.

Perhaps with what happened yesterday she felt sentimental and was in a mood for some japanese food and some sweet dessert.

Seeing her downcast look, Ian gently spoke to her.

”What's wrong?” he asked. His tone full of worry.

His meledious voice pulled her out of her trance.

”NNN... Nothing CEO Lee.”
