19 Chapter 19 : Im Your Boss 1 (1/2)

It was past 12 noon when Tia woke up feeling refreshed, due to trauma and exhaustion, she slept soundly for almost 24 hours and now she's starving.

'Shocks. I felt like I just died. How can I sleep for an entire day?'

She hurriedly grab her phone, there are 30 missed calls. 10 of them are from Mei Chen, and 20 from an unknown number.

She received 45 SMS. Some are just ads and thereare quite a few SMS from her little sis Mei-Mei. She checked the messages..

'Sis Tia where are you, Manager Qin got fired'

'Are you ok? They said you're not feeling well...'

'Sis Tia, im coming over.'

'Sis Tia Im here....'

'Sis Tia, since you're not answering maybe you're asleep? I printed Manager Qin's photo and showed them to the guards so they can keep an eye out for him.'

'Oh right, he's EX MANAGER QIN NOW. Hahaha'

'Rest well Sis Tia.'

'Call me as soon as you wake up.'

Tia can't help but sigh, indeed what happened yesterday was real. She thought that she just had a bad nightmare. Fortunately, it doesn't really affect her much right now.

She scanned her room and her eyes landed on the black suit jacket her boss had given her.

She hugged it and also picked up the teddy bear that was on the floor near her bed. She remembered hugging it to sleep.

She started to read through her messages again when saw an unknown number.

'Are you feeling well?'

'Call me.'

'Rest easy.'

The number was not familiar to her, but seeing the messages it seems that the sender was worried for her.

”Who could it be? New number? Did Mei have alternative phone number?”

Out of curiosity she send a message.
