Chapter 13: Story 13 (2/2)
Little Watermelon sits happily on the sofa and eats a cake. Until there is one third of the cake left, then he reluctantly puts the cake in front of Dandan, pouting the mouth and watches him eat the cake while waging its tail.
Bo Yu stands at the kitchen door with a kitchen knife and frowns, “Don’t give him the cake. It will make him sick.”
Little Watermelon turns around and says, “Papa give the cake left at home to Dandan on its last birthday?”
Bo Yu returns to the kitchen in silence.
Stupid son! Why he gives him the cake from the last birthday is because there is so much left that they can’t finish it. Now that’s a little cake, which isn’t enough for little Watermelon. Little Watermelon shouldn’t give the cake left to Dandan? So stupid!
Little Watermelon and Dandan have the deeper feelings after they share the cake with each other. So that when little Watermelon takes a bath, Dandan goes around in circles and wags its tail around the bathtub. The dog’s face is full of eagerness to try.
Bo Yu, with sharp eyes and agile hands, splashes Dandan with water. When Dandan runs a little farther, he warns, “Stop! You just stand there and don’t come over here.”
But little Watermelon isn’t happy, struggling to jump out of the bathtub in order to hold Dandan to the bathtub for a bath together.
Bo Yu grabs little Watermelon’s pigtail, ignoring his angry eyes, and says forcefully, “Take a bath, or I cut off your pigtail and shave your hair cleanly.”
Little Watermelon is reluctant to sit in the bathtub and play with ducks. His little mouth pouts so high, showing his dissatisfaction, “Dandan also wants to take a bath.”
“He has his own bathtub. I won’t allow it to take a bath with you. Please drop the idea forever.” Bo Yu says coldly and pinches out the little flame burning in little Watermelon’s heart.
Dandan can hardly stand, lying on the ground, looking at little Watermelon from afar with the eagerness of taking a bath with him.
Little Watermelon has finally taken a bath. He runs around the living room barefoot with Dandan.
Raising the eyebrows, Bo Yu is about to get angry. As it happens, the mobile is ringing. He answers the phone without looking at the caller identification.
Mo Anyu seems to say with smiles, “Bo Yu, are you going to come to the crew tomorrow?”
Bo Yu nods. Before he answers, the naughty child runs by the side with Dandan in his arms and shouts, “Papa, come here and help Dandan bathe. I’m going to sleep with Dandan today.”
The child’s crisp childish voice passes through Bo Yu’s ears and phone, and then comes to Mo Anyu on the line.
Mo Anyu, “...”
Bo Yu, “...”
What the hell? (#?Д?)!
With a buzz in her head, Bo Yu is very regretful and can’t help scolding himself why he is so easy to lose her vigilance.
Mo Anyu also feels embarrassed on the line. It’s simply a call from a friend, but it becomes embarrassing because he finds the secret of his friend.
Bo Yu coughs and breaks the ice, “He is my son.”
Little Watermelon has sharp ears. He hears that Bo Yu is introducing himself to the person on the line. He quickly lays down Dandan and runs to Bo Yu, looking up dully.
Bo Yu grabs little Watermelon’s pigtail and waits for the person on the line to express his opinions.
Mo Anyu says, “You have the child at so young age.”
Bo Yu’s eloquence is frozen in such an awkward moment, and he doesn’t get on with the topic in time.
“What’s his name?” Mo Anyu says slowly.
Bo Yu looks at little Watermelon’s pigtail again and prompts him to answer by himself.
“Little Watermelon.” Little Watermelon answers loudly with the proud expression, “Hello, uncle.”
Mo Anyu smiles. The embarrassment between the two adults much disappears. “Director Hou asked me if you would come to the crew tomorrow? We’ll finish the final episode at first, and then the previous episodes.”
Although Bo Yu doesn’t understand why Mo Anyu tells him that trivial matter in person, he doesn’t ask explicitly and nods gladly, “Okay, I get that. See you tomorrow.”
Mo Anyu may be a little busy. After exchanging the usual pleasantries, he hangs up. It’s different with the idle chatting they have for a long time before.
Holding the phone, Bo Yu doesn’t say it frankly in view that Mo Anyu should feel embarrassed. With a sigh, he goes to bed with little Watermelon in the arms.
He is unlucky in these days. Bo Yu can’t help wondering if he has offended any God; otherwise he is frustrated no matter what he does.

After hanging up, his tender facial expression suddenly changes. He sweeps the bottles and cups on the bar to the ground, crackling the crisp sounds.
Mo Anyu goes to the wine cabinet, takes out a bottle of red wine, opens the stopper and pours into his mouth.
Previously, he quietly follows Bo Yu, wondering where he lives. But he has never thought that Bo Yu picks up a child.
At that time, it is very dark, and he is unable to see what the child looks like, so he consoles himself that the child is only his relative. Unexpectedly, that is really his son!
So, he has the child with the profligate woman in the two years of his disappearance!
The more he thinks of it, the more irritable Mo Anyu feels. He suddenly throws bottles on the ground, breathing heavily. Obviously, his bloodshot eyes look very angry.
How can he have the child with others in private?
You are mine!
Mo Anyu’s chest fluctuates constantly, and there are the malevolence flashes through his eyes.

Bo Yu manages to hush the child to sleep, takes out the ointment he buys on the way back this morning and takes it on himself, groveling on the bed.
“What a shame!.” After taking the ointment on himself, Bo Yu motionlessly lies on the bed. “I have not only been slept on by the other, but also put the ointment on myself. What luck!”
Bo Yu turns over in bed and looks at the ceiling without blinking. He recalls what happened last night and says yearningly, “It’s so cool. I feel that the rain falls on the ground after a long drought.”
Bo Yu, unashamed, imagines the love with Song Shilin last night, and falls asleep with a crooked head.
