29 Being Overpowered by Overeating (1/2)

One slash is all that took to end a life, placing Hilda behind his back the puppy ran at the corpse.

By the time he noticed, the puppy ran after the body, bit off the dangling arm and thrashing it around to his rage, then finished it off with his thunder wave skill barking at the corpse afterwards.

”Now then...”

With the now beheaded Wade out of the picture, along with the troublesome Tiger dead, the battle was over.

A new problem however, was right before him.

”How am I going to clean this all up.”

The Tiger's rampage was due to Stigma infecting it with wrath energy which gave it a huge boost in power and the lost of pain, it then killed or more accurately destroyed everything in its path.

What was more concerning was that even with all the beast attacking it together, they had no chance in besting it in combat.

Looking around him, he can see large piles of Heavenly Beast, he had never expected that his little plan for revenge would lead to him unintentionally becoming an accomplice in committing mass murder.

From where he stood, he clearly sees the large and small beast species.

There were bulls with red horns with slash marks all over its body, some monkeys with crushed limbs or skulls, others were smaller in size such as bunnies, rats or small birds.

He can see more underneath them, but he couldn't tell if there were parts of the same animal.

Counting all of them by an average, he estimated that there were at least a hundred of them shocking him greatly.

Dazed from the number of dead beast, he finally noticed the voice of Hilda's shouts of attentions from behind him.

”Master! Your evil! Ignoring me, while gazing at some beast!”

If she were to have a face and a body, she would be pouting with puffed cheeks and throwing a tantrum by stomping her feet.

”But you really are amazing!”

Hilda then gave a shout of joy from the carnage before her, praising her master for his great plan which was out of her expectations.

She had seen a fair share of carnage before, such as nations betraying one another with constant war, so it was nothing new to her.

But having seen the child named Stigma, who was still young, took advantage of the situation when he was still weak, made her believe that a great future will be made when he gets stronger.

At the same time shocking her from the outcome, she did not expect he would create such a plan that reap such benefits.

”You really are evil master, but still amazing nonetheless!”

Her endless praise was more like arrows striking him, since he never planned for the battle to escalate this far.

”Oh, how so?”

As far as he knows, he didn't do anything wrong or evil.

He just made a plan for some payback, added insurance which was the Berserker mode, then somehow ended up with inadvertently cause a slaughter of the Heavenly Beast.

”Master, normally people would take years to carefully make a plan for their chance in revenge, but you made a plan in seconds after just meeting him, along with you gaining all sorts of treasure without getting involved. Look even the little one is happy biting in his new food.”

Now that he thought about it the puppy ran of somewhere when he was conversing with Hilda.

”Where?”

”By the pile with the deer horns sticking out.”

When he looked around he found the horns, and on it was the puppy teething on it.

He appears to have taking a liking to it, so he cut down the horn using Hilda and let the puppy play with it.

If it weren't the fact it was a wolf, he would have thought he adopted an actual dog.

”Little one, look around if you like some of the meat here, then find me so we'll take it.”

He was also curious about the taste, since he ate the delicious heaven-like taste of the Wolf, he was hungry for the other beast's.

Hearing such a suggestions was music to the little wolfs ears, it then dashed around to look for their future meals.

Seeing such a cute puppy prance and bark around with a bunch of corpses made him feel the scene was surreal, so he ordered Dusk to follow it and kill anything that moves from the pile and bring what the puppy wanted.

”Now then, lets take look at our actual goal.”

”Understood master, I have confirmed that both are dead, especially the Tiger.”

Even without Hilda's senses he was able to tell with his skill 'Essence Reader', but it was to good know that he had someone to really on when he needed to.

His first target was the perpetrator who started all this.

Wade.

With his head severed he didn't even bother to care if he has any last words, since his main goal was on his hand, the space ring that he showed, from the brief explanation it can hold a number of items as long it does not exceed the limit.

Having such a convenient tool is a great help, especially to Stigma who liked to hoard stuff, even when those tools are not needed anymore, since it will be difficult in bringing a lot due to his current size and no base.

Due to excessive movements from before it became stiff[1], earlier than expected, now Stigma had great difficulty in removing the ring on Wade's clasped hand.

He had no choice as to cut the finger or have Dusk return and bite the thing off.

'I wonder what skills does he have.'

Using 'Essence Reader' he looked at his stats.

*

Name: Wade

Age: 32

Rank: Rare (II) (Early stage)

Skills: Wind Rush, Sword Mastery, Ax Mastery, Tracking

*

Huh?

When he looked again he saw the 1st stage, he assumed that he will see only the rank of the Tier like before.

Then again he only saw the ones from beast most of the time, the cultivators he met before were extremely weak compared to Wade, and the others were non-cultivators so it was good enough to be a reference.

So he had to guess from experience.

From the looks of it, the first part was the Tiers, then beside it was the stage they were in.

The time he used for his training and the experience gained from his battles were very obvious, with the space ring, weapons and his skills, he must have earned them.

Then he imagined the organization backing him, he already made a mistake with those two so he had to tamper with the scene as minimal as possible.

He decided to chop of the top portion of the arm and rip it out like his other dangling arm, now there were no lose ends.

To test out the ring he grabbed a dagger by his thigh and it disappeared then reappeared in his hand.

”Master, please don't send me in there...”

Hilda was calling him in a voice that was about to cry, but he understood, if he were in her position he would feel unease about it as well.

Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark!

He turned his head and saw the puppy coming towards him, with Dusk carrying a bunch of bodies.

”Master, someone is drawing near here!”

Shit! The horde must have caused a commotion.

Using his new space ring he stored all the meat that Dusk was carrying, the War hammer, the corpse of the tiger, and finally the severed arm.

”Dusk!”

As it did before, he shrouded him and Hilda, just to be sure he carried the puppy and dashed to the hiding spot with the remaining weapon that Wade abandoned.

”How far is he...”

”Not far from here...”

With the rock acting as a natural cover, he then focused his attention on his surroundings.

The entire conversation had to be whispered since he didn't want to alert any strong enemy.

And after a few minutes somebody did came, a young man with a spear on his back with a look of delight.

”Oh!!!!Jackpot! I'm rich! I'm rich! I'm rich!”

He can hear the shout of delight from where he was hiding, since he can't move from his position he checked his stats.

*

Name: Denis

Age: 22

Rank: Common (I) (Mid Stage)

Skills: Spear Mastery, Farming

*

He was weak, compared to Wade he was a nobody.

While Stigma was figuring out what to do, the new comer named Denis was grabbing a knife and tried to cut open a beast that looked like a peasant.

”Tier one, but with these numbers, I can still get a fortune.”

He then felt his arm being tugged, he turned to see the puppy pleading him, it must be hungry, so he placed it down and summoned one of the beast that looked like a deer.

With the appearance of the deer it jumped to joy and dove right in for its meal.

”Master.”

Hmm? Hilda what could she want.
