25 Family (2/2)

Hearing what Ivan said, Eric felt a shiver course through his body tried to run away as fast as possible but before he had the chance to run, Ivan grabbed Eric by the collar of his shirt and dragged him into the house. ”Please god, let me keep my sanity and my asshole intact when this whole ordeal is over,” Eric prayed to god in his thoughts.

When Reed and Aily entered their home, and went to find their parent in the living room. When they entered the living room, Reed and Aily didn't see their parents, instead the saw a stranger who was sitting on the couch looking at his phone. The person was a male, about five foot nine and looked like he was in his mid twenties. He was wearing a grey suit with matching color pants, brown brogue shoes, and a gold colored watch on his left wrist.

With what he's wearing and a aura of pride surrounding them, it wouldn't be wrong to assume that he was from a prestigious family. ”May I presume that you're Reed Aniston and Aily Aniston?” The man said the moment he saw Aily and Reed in the corner of his eyes.

Not anyone can come into the Aniston Family's home, Reed knew that this man wasn't a nobody but a individual who had a considerable of influence in Nova city or had considerable influence from somewhere else in the Aneis Federation.(1)

Curious of the man's identity Reed replied in a polite manner ” Yes that would be us, And you would be?” The man got up from the couch and walked towards Reed and Aily and with a smile, ” How rude of me, my name Charles Aniston, I'm your dads brother, making me your uncle.”

Hearing that Charles was his uncle, Reed couldn't helped but feel shocked. Now taking a closer look at Charles, he could see that he and his father had some resemblance. Seeing the resemblance made and the earnest voice Charles had, Reed certainly believe that he was related to him. But why did his father never mention.

Now when Reed thought about it, Reed's father never said much about his family. The only family Reed knew about was his mom's side of the family as they would visit now and then from the capital. But even though they visited to see Reed and his family, Reed didn't even know a single thing about what they do in the capital city.

Just what kind of family does his mom and dad come from?

1) Instead of Aneis, it'll be called Aneis Federation. It'll be easier to read when it's implemented in sentences. I'll go back and change it in previous chapters.

I've noticed that the world building needs a little fix. I did sort of fix it by adding it in the 2nd chapter.

The other would be how cultivation is implemented in modern society, it'll be explained in 2 chaps or so.
