”My name is Reed Aniston, heir to the Aniston Family” Reed answered. When Conor heard Reed say that he was the heir to the Aniston Family. Conor became shocked, but after connecting the information Reed was able to gather and the Aniston Family, he found it a little reasonable to have such abilities to gain that information. So the initial shock the ran through him lessened considerably.

”Now that you know my identity, will you answer my question. Was any bit of the information about yourself wrong? Conor shook his head.

”No, nothing was wrong. Everything you said was correct. If it wasn't for those people that are holding my wife hostage at this very moment, I wouldn't have done such despicable thing that I have done in the past. It makes me sick doing this sort of job. But what can I do? They have my wife, the one I promised to protect and take care of. If I don't follow their orders, it'll be the end for my wife.”

As Conor spoke, he became sad and depressed as he thought of his wife's situation. Was she being treated properly? Was she getting enough nutrients? He didn't even know if she was alive, but that was something Conor didn't dare to think about.

In the past when Conor talked to his wife's kidnapper on the phone, he tried to persuade the man to allow him to speak to his wife, but he was rejected in the end. Seeing the depressed look on Conor's face, Reed couldn't help but pity Conor and relate with him. Would he be like him if the person he loved was held hostage?

Reed threw out this thought before he could think any further and proceeded to speak, ” As a resident of Nova City, you should clearly know who the Aniston Family is and have an idea of what sort of powers we hold.”

”What are you trying to say?” Conor wanted Reed to get to the point.

”What I'm trying to say is, is that I'm willing to help you with your problem.”

A glint of hope could be seen in Conor's eyes. Conor's wants nothing more than to see his wife, but he didn't let the excitement inside overcome. He still didn't know Reed nor does he know how the Aniston Family worked. If there was one thing he knew if he were to immediately accept Reed's help, Is that there was price he had to pay. Conor spoke with a expressionless face,

”I know your not doing this out of the kindness of your heart. In this world we live in, there is no one who would do something for others out of the kindness of there heart. When people help others, they always look for some sort of benefit or advantage. So spit it out, tell me what you want.”

A smile appeared on Reed's face. ”All I ask of you, is to work for me.”

”huh, if I were to work for, what would you make me do?” The reason Conor asked this, was because he didn't want to do any missions that were illegal, like this missions he was doing the Hexagrams.

”First thing I would have you do if you worked for me. Is that I would have you tell me everything you have on the Hexagrams. After that, I would have you help me take over the Hexagrams. Not a bad proposal is it?”

Conor didn't have much of a reason to decline such an proposal. Not only would he save his wife, he would even taking part of the Hexagrams. And maybe, if he were to a good job, he could ask Reed to find those who kidnapped his wife and have them killed.

After awhile of contemplating, Conor was able to come to a consensus. He then lifted his hand up for Reed to shake. ” The only thing I hope, is that I won't regret this decision.”

”Don't worry about regretting this decision, as this decision will be the best decision you'll ever make in this life.” Reed said as he shook Conor's hand. The two hand of Reed and Conor split.

”It'll be pleasure a pleasure to work with you Conor.”

”It'll be the same for me boss.” Now that Conor worked for Reed, he would then call him boss every time he spoke to him. This was normal as people would usually call others boss or any other superior title that is applied to them.

When Kendall and the others call him boss, Reed wasn't a fan of it as he did train with them when they were young. Being called boss made him feel distant to the rest, but when Conor called him boss. Reed didn't see anything wrong with it as right at this moment, he was Conor's superior, so being called boss was normal.
