20 Conflic (2/2)
”How about you consider of surrendering, If you do, we'll be sure to let you leave a live with a few pieces of your bodies intact.” One of the goons said to Reed.
”Keep your idle threats to yourself, and show me what you got,” Reed replied with a mocking tone. One of the goons behind Reed couldn't stand his arrogance and punched towards him. ” What a cowardly attack,”Reed thought. Right before the strike could come into contact with his body, Reed took hold of the goons arm and slammed the goons body into the ground then twisted his arm, dislocating it.
Three goons then attacked together, one goon attacking from the front, while the other two attacked from the left and right of Reed. Reed didn't want to keep on countering their attacks, so he then took the initiative and launched his attack towards the person is front of him. Before the goon in the front could touch Reed, Reed sent a kick towards his chest, knocking him out senseless.
Reed then moved on to the the goon on the left and like the goon who attacked from the front. He too didn't have a chance to touch Reed as he was elbowed in the gut, knocking the air out of him and tossed towards the goon coming from the right. That goon was unprepared for a body to be thrown at him, as he was soon toppled by the body of the other goon, causing him to fall onto the ground.
Seeing their friends being beaten up senseless by Reed, the last two lost all of their confidence and ran away from the scene. It was expected to see such a thing happen, as they weren't soldiers who were prepared to die, but are normal civilians.
Seeing the last two of the goons run away, Reed turned back to see five people on the ground, either knocked out or writhing in pain. Reed then turned to Aily who was still fighting Conor. Conor was like Aily and was a Silver Grade Four. It was one of reasons why he was able to last so long.
Another reason would be the combat experience Conor has accumulated in life. Conor was a retired black ops, he has seen his fair share of bloodshed and experienced combat more than the usual soldier. It was due to his combat instinct, Conor was able to determine how Aily would attack and when she'll attack.
But to say that Conor was calm would be a total lie. As a man who has fought on the battlefield for years, how come he couldn't even defeat a girl who was younger than him by more than a decade? He couldn't comprehend it. Just what sort of training did this girl receive to be so skilled? If Conor were to learn how she trained, Conor wouldn't have dared to fight Aily in the first place.
Each strike Aily threw at Conor was quick and effective. But all was either blocked or dodged by Conor. Unlike Conor, Aily didn't have any real combat experience, if she did, she would've already utilized it and gotten the upper hand in the fight she was having against Conor.
This was the main reason why Reed hasn't joined in on the fight. He wanted Aily to gain the combat experience, so that she could use her experience to protect herself in the future. Reed knew he won't always be with Aily in the future, so he wanted to use this occasion to train her.
As the fight went on, Aily was getting frustrated. She already knew Reed was done with his fight and knew he wasn't helping because he wanted her to gain real combat experience. But even with all the strikes she threw at the Conor, he was able to dodge them, causing her to become frustrated.
Because of being frustrated too much, Aily attacked with more strength and speed than ever before with a punch aiming for Conor's stomach. Conor wanted to dodge the hit by stepping to the side but the punch was coming to fast. And before he knew it, the fist came into contact with his body, pushing him back a few steps. Before he could fully recover Aily then followed with a kick to the left side of his body, knocking him off balance. Then for the finishing touch, Aily then used as much strength she could and jabbed him again in the stomach, but this time with her elbow, causing Conor to spit out blood and kneeled over.
And just as Aily was about to end it all, Reed told her to stop,
”Stop.”

Now that were at the end of this chap. I have some news to tell you guys.
So Destiny 2 Forsaken DLC came out on Tuesday this week. Btw I had to pay 60 bucks for that stupid shit. WHY DOES PS4 HAVE THE $35 VERSION AND NOT XBOX F*CK.
Anyways, expect for some weeks of odd chapter releases. I guess that's all about my IRL life,...
Now for the other info
