19 Being Followed (2/2)

”So what did Aily say to you?” Reed asked Daniel immediately. Hearing the question, Daniel hesitated but soon told Reed everything of what happened between him and Aily. Hearing the story, Reed couldn't help but feel frustrated.

”Why would threaten a man with castration? That's one of the last things you would ever threaten a man with.. But seeing how shaken up Daniel is, it could be seen he won't even dare of thinking of going against us.” Reed thought.

”I'm sorry for being threatened by Aily. I apologize in her stead and Aniston Family.” Hearing the apology coming from Reed, Daniel shook his head and said

”No it's fine. Even though I was shaken up due to her threats. She was doing it all for you. Which I respect. I don't feel offended one bit so there's no need to apologize.” Seeing that Daniel didn't want Reed to apologize, Reed didn't.

”Ok, no apologizing, I'll just owe a favor. How about that?”

”That sounds good.”Hearing that he was able to get a favor from Reed who was the heir to the Aniston Family, Daniel immediately took it. Even though Daniel was the heir to one of the four great families. Having a favor from the heir of the strongest of the four would help him a lot in the future.

The day passed and school ended. Reed, Aily, Kendall were walking home with alongside with Daniel who wanted to walk with them as he wanted to talk with them and get to know them better. When Daniel asked to walk with them. Aily looked at him with a deathly looked which caused him to waver. Aily's action were both caught by Reed and Kendall, but they said nothing about it. In the end, Daniel was able to overcome his fear and asked once again, which Reed agreed to.

On the streets walking home, Kendall was quiet while Reed, Aily and Daniel talked about how there classes were. Normally, the group would talk about training and how to strengthen their forces, but with Daniel walking with them. They had to keep quiet about it and talk about things that Daniel could relate to. And that was school.

As they talked, Reed, Aily and Kendall was able to sense a group of people following them. They looked at each other for a second to prevent Daniel from catching on and nodded. At a stoplight of an intersection, Reed spoke up.

”Aily and I need to go buy something for the house. You guys go ahead and go home,” Kendall already understood what Aily and Reed already planned on doing and nodded. While Daniel on the other hand didn't understand. Daniel then asked

”Couldn't you call a servant of yours and do it for you?”

”It'll be faster for us to buy it. I'm gonna have my people pick me up. So you go on ahead and go home.” Daniel didn't anything else and shrugged his shoulders and turned away walking home as the signal for walking was on with Kendall walking behind them.

Seeing that Kendall and Daniel were now out of his sight, he then turned to Aily. ”How many people do you think is following us?” Aily immediately answered back with confidence.

”Eight people,” Reed smiled since Aily's guess was spot on. Over the seven years, one of the Reed trained everyone a lot was in sharpening their senses. Always being aware of ones surrounding is pretty helpful in keeping them self safe and allows them to notice if people are following them. Like right now, Reed, Aily and Kendall was able to notice someone following them.

”Correct, it seems that the training did pretty well.” Reed complimented Aily causing her to smile.

”I wonder who has the gall to even follow us.”

”Well figure that out once we confront them in a bit,” Reed then started walking down the streets, which was the opposite direction of Kendall and Reed with Aily who was walking right beside them. The two of them walked into an alley to stay away from the public's eye and turned around to see eight guys in front of them.

170 words less guys sorry. But I needed an good spot to stop and well here it is.

This chapter felt a little lack luster in my opinion as, writing this chap was just boring for me. Next chap though, I'm gonna be happy writing as it's gonna have action YEAH!

Another thing I'm gonna talk about is how I'm gonna release chaps. I'll do three weeks a day, but it'll be on random days. Mostly I'll release on friday, Saturday, Sunday and maybe monday since I have free time on the days prior.
