18 Father and Son (1/2)

In the cafeteria of Crystal High, there Reed, Aily, and Daniel sat at the table. ”So, who is he?” Aily pointed out to Daniel who was sitting across from her and Reed.

”You met him seven years ago, at the banquet.” Aily looked at Daniel's face for a bit before she able to remember who Daniel was.

”Oh, he was the person that got beaten up by you into a pulp.” Aily laughed. Daniel's mouth twitched the moment he heard her say that. Couldn't she have remembered him in a better way... Aily wanted to get a reaction out of him, but Daniel kept his cool and greeted himself to Aily

”My name is Daniel Vice, nice to meet,”seeing that she wasn't able to get the reaction she wanted, Aily stopped herself from adding on anymore comments and greeted back.

”My name is Aily Fields, nice to meet you as well.”Seeing that the two to of finished greeting each other, Reed asked Daniel

”So how are you and the Vice Family,” Daniel wasn't told any of the plans his father and the other two great families had planned for the Aniston Family. So Daniel didn't feel any wrong about telling him what his Family has been doing recently.

”My father has been recently purchasing small companies, ranging from clothing to weaponry recently. I think he plans on expanding his business empire, which is rare coming from him, as he has done it before.”

Reed nodded. As he was about to ask another question, he could see Kendall who was walking towards them. Aily, seeing turned back to look at where Reece was looking at and too noticed Kendall coming over. Kendall before was just a skinny kid in the past, but now he was a muscular man with a sharp aura around him.

”Hey Kendall, how are you?” Aily immediately asked Kendall the moment he stood by the table. Kendall smiled back and replied

”I'm fine Aily, and good afternoon to you boss”

”Good afternoon to you too, Kendall. And how many times do I have to tell you not to call me boss.” Reed laughed as he replied back to Kendall.

Kendall laughed, ”It was agreed by everyone in the group to call you boss, except for Aily here.” Reed couldn't argue with Kendall as there was no point, so he only did a light sigh. Kendall then turned his head to look at Daniel.

”And he is?” Kendall was clearly asking for Daniel's Identity.

”His name is Daniel Vice, a new friend I made today.” Reed answered Kendall's question.

”Daniel Vice,”Kendall said in a surprised voice and furrowed his brows as looked closely at Daniel. Daniel ignored Kendall's reaction and greeted him, as he did with Aily

”My name is Daniel Vice, nice to meet you.”

”My name is Kendall Dos, and likewise,” after replying back to Daniel, Kendall then turned to Reed and gave him a look. Reed immediately understood his look as they did have a tacit understanding with each other, due to them training together for so long. Reed then got up from his seat.

”Kendall and I are gonna go to the bathroom, Aily I hope you can get a long with Daniel while I'm gone” Reed said to Aily as he walked away with Kendall following him. Aily nodded and looked towards Daniel. Even though the smile looked like a smile coming from an angel, Daniel couldn't help but feel chills coming down his spine.

”We only have so much time, tell me as much as you can and when we get home, you can report the rest there.” Reed knew the reason why Kendall pulled him from the group was to report him the information he asked him to find. In this case, Reed asked Kendall to sniff out any info on anyone that came from a family, that had any sort of influence in Nova City, either big or small, Kendall had to find it.

Kendall had two years to find information on many people as he could, since Kendall was older than Reed by a year, he went to high school first. During those two years, he was able to find a lot of information on many people.

As they were in a secluded and empty part of the school, Kendall had no fear in being eavesdropped on, plus adding the fact if someone was eavesdropping on them, Kendall and Reed would've immediately, due to their acute senses.

Kendall starts reporting his finds, ” In total I have found seven people we should pay attention to. One would be Daniel Vice, but seeing how you guys were all sitting together I think it's fine. Being friends with the heir of the Vice family would bring a huge advantage to the conflict up ahead.

”The second would be Thomas Velp, he's a third year of Crystal High. From what I've learned, his family is having an internal conflict going on in their family. The conflict was being of, who should be the family heir. Thomas being one of three sons, he is fighting his other two brothers for head of the family.”
