16 Training And 7 Years (1/2)
A week has passed and major changes has been made to the Estate Kendall and everyone lived at to incorporate future training. Over the week Kendall and his everyone else from the orphanage that joined the Aniston, they've been doing everything the wanted to do as Reed promised them. They ate food from five star restaurants, played on game consoles they never got to play on before, go to amusements parks, and many more.
In the newly built building near Kendall's and co's home. There was Reed, Aily, Kendall, Abe, Ivan, Eric, and Baron. The room had wooden floors and on each side had racks with assortments on it. Such as training swords, mats, weights, and other training equipment.
”It's been a week now, I hoped you guys enjoyed all the experience you had over the time.” Reed said to Kendall and his group in front of him. Kendall and everyone voiced out a yes, as they did have a great time during their last week of fun and enjoyment.
”Do you guys want to back out? Say it now, as this is your only chance of saying so.” Reed asked. Seeing how everyone enjoyed their time last week, he knew no one would want to back out and go back to the orphanage. No one would want to give up such a lifestyle after experiencing it. But he still asked in assurance. Determination flashed in Kendall's and co's eye and said nothing nor moved one bit.
It was clear none of them wanted to back out and were all willing to endure the training. Seeing no one saying anything and only seeing the look of determination. Reed knew that these kids in front of him will be very strong characters in the future if the all passed the tests he planned for them. Reed smiled. ” Good, no one plans to leave. Ok then, let the training begin,”
The training Reed planned was made off the training he experienced in his past life. Compared to the training plan in the other life, the plan Reed made was more tolerable as it lessened the chances of people dying by a significant amount. As this is the training group using this plan, Reed doesn't know the percentage of death, he planned to learn through this first use.
On the first day Reed lead everyone to run around the estate and see how long everyone can last. Each lap around the estate was a half a mile. The first day of training was too see the extent of each and everyone's stamina. Stamina was a major strength in battle. Without stamina, how could you expect someone to fight for a long duration of time.
Plus, those in close quarter combat, if the two had equal strength and ability. It's usually the one with the most stamina that would win since. Of course that's only if his opponents doesn't have any secret weapons on him or expended it prior. Reed joined the training as well since he knew, he need the training his body as well. Seeing Reed wanting to join them in training made them see Reed in a better light and feel a little more determined. It's like the general of an army leading the charge to battle to encourage his men to follow him.
After three laps the first person to fall out of the group and stopped running was Abe. Abe collapsed on the grass bed and was hyperventilating. Kendall and his friends were about to go and help Abe but after seeing servants coming over to pick up Abe and bringing him to the infirmary to recuperate, they kept on running
The first of training was for Reed to see the limits of each person. He wanted to see everyone's weakness and then later train them in the area of that weakness. So then that weakness would then become a strength. As former orphans from Gregory Orphanage, they didn't have consoles. So to entertains themselves they usually played games that trained their body, such as tag. So it's not surprising seeing these kids were able to run so long without stopping.
(I remember when I was a chubby 8yr old in elementary school. Hearing the mile test was like the sound of the church bells ringing for my funeral. It took me forever to finish that shit. I still hate mile tests even now. like screw mile tests, I live in America. Get bigger, get better, America!)
As Reed and his group kept on running, Reed looked back to see Aily still running her hardest. Her face so red, it looked like she was gonna pass out any minute. He promised to protect her, so seeing her like that wasn't something he didn't want to see . But seeing her determined look he didn't stop her. Reed then couldn't help but about the conversation the other day.
-----
After working Reed and Aily finished working out for the day in the Aniston training room Aily said to Reed ”I want to train alongside with all you.” Aily made the decision to follow Reed's footsteps during that time at the orphanage. Even if it meant to go through arduous training with the chance of death.
----
At that time Reed couldn't reject nor did he want to reject her. He felt conflicted really, he promised to protect her, but look at what's he doing and planned on doing to her. But this was all necessary to her safety in the later future. So seeing her determined face at this moment as they were running reassured Reed, that he wasn't doing anything wrong.
On the forth lap Ivan was the next to fall and like Abe, he too was picked up by the servants and brought to the infirmary. As everyone else kept on running, soon they ran the fifth lap, then the 6th lap. At that time everyone was exhausted, Reed was an exception as he was at bronze grade 5. He had more energy and strength compared to the former orphans.
Aily on the other couldn't be compared to Reed as her foundation hasn't stabilized yer, so even though she war really strong for her age, she could barely utilize her new found strength. But as long as she kept on training alongside Reed, she'll soon stabilized her powers and will be able to train alongside Reed with an easier difficulty. But as she hasn't stabilized her foundation, her situation even though better compared to the former orphans, wasn't better by a lot.
