Chapter 291 - The Trial (1/2)

Evan walked over to the cage and removed the black cloth covering it.

”Well, hello there.” Said Evan looking at those who were in that cage.

Underneath it was ten young and beautiful girls. Some of them were trembling with fear, while others were surprisingly calm. Each of them had a different appearance, all of them somewhat unique. Some were small and cute, and some were tall and strong-looking. Evan picked out different variations for a more significant effect.

He wasn't going to use them for experiments, at least not yet. He wanted to use them to test one of his hypotheses. Evan would try to use them to awaken one of the Seven Deadly Sins - Lust.

When he awakened Sin - Wrath in a recent battle and opened the Dragon Sigil, Evan realized that it had something to do with his emotions and desires. Sins didn't just awaken because of coincidence. The catalyst for this event was Evan himself.

Evan understood that it wasn't that simple. After all, he had not awakened Sin - Greed when he made his first money. What's more, he had awakened that Sin in a situation where the money had nothing to do with it. Of course, this was because one could be greedy not only for money and material goods.

The same was true of Sin - Wrath. During the battle with Ein, Evan was furious, but it wasn't the first time he was angry during a battle. When Evan fought in Half-Dead Forest against Reinier and used the power of the demon Prince Seere 70, Evan was also enraged. But, he didn't get Sin - Wrath. The situation with getting Sin was only partially understandable.

<If the Seven Deadly Sins correspond to the Seven Princes of Hell, then I didn't get four other sins: Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, and Lust. Of these sins, Envy and Sloth are the most problematic. I have no idea what I could envy enough to get Sin - Envy, and Sin - Sloth, I don't understand what I have to do to get it. Perhaps nothing? In any case, it's too obscure and complicated at the moment>. Evan thought.

Unlike Envy and Sloth, Evan roughly understood how to awaken Gluttony and Lust. Evan decided to start with Lust since he thought it was the easiest Sin to awaken. Evan was sure that in order to discover Sin, Gluttony, just eating a hard breakfast would not be enough. He would have to eat and eat, even forcefully, and there was no guarantee that it would do him any good.

The girls looked at Evan in silence and waited for his words.

”There is no need to be afraid. I think many of you can guess what you're here for. Think of it as me just wanting to take a break. Simply put, I will fuck you and enjoy your bodies. I won't torture you, it's too long.” Evan said calmly.

Some of the girls flinched, and some breathed a sigh of relief. They understood that this situation was much better than if they had fallen in with some maniac. They were all slaves, so sex was commonplace for them.

”Reykar,” Evan said quietly, and a few seconds later, a huge raven flew into the hall. The simple flapping of its wings made the girls tremble.

”Don't try to escape. I don't want to wait a few more days for someone to be brought to me instead of you. You were prepared for that anyway.” Said Evan and walked over to the cage.

This cage had no lock, this was done to eliminate any possibility of the girls escaping. If there was no door, it was impossible to get out.
