Standard Type of Soul-beasts or the Basic Types
Standard moves outnumber all other styles, but many of them are status moves that do not deal any damage.
Today, the vast majority of Standard attacks are melee, with only a few exceptions being ranged. Normal moves are added, as well as a few previous attacks that have been modified to the range.
Standard moves are commonly spread among the majority of Soul-beast animals.
Some low-level movements, such as Tackle and Scratch, stand out as the first damage-inflicting moves that different animals master as they level up.
Among species, the Standard Type of Soul-beasts is based on a wide range of real-world animals.
Standard typically did not pair with other types except, to portray standard species of birds.
The Standard-type has been specifically engineered to lack any offensive or defensive advantage: offensively it hits no types super-effectively but two types resist it and one is immune to it, while defensively it resists no types, while one type hits it super-effectively.
Defensive Standard -types would typically have high defensive stats while offensive Standard -types would typically learn a large variety of moves.

They're vulnerable to the Brawler-type because an average citizen has no chance against a professional boxer.
The Boulder and Metal forms avoid them because an average person's strike against certain elements is unsuccessful due to their hardness.
Since a body and a Spirit cannot affect each other, they are immune to the Spirit-type.

Flame-Type Soul-Beast
Flame-Type Soul-Beast formed a perfectly triangular relationship with Plant and Liquid.
Flame-Type moves are based on attacks of fire itself, and most of them can leave the status Burn. Flame-Types are also immune to being burned, regardless of the type of move used that would have inflicted a Burn.
Flame-Type Soul Beasts have notably fewer species compared to the other Starter types, due to a lack of natural phenomena that can be described as fire.

Flame-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Insect-Type Soul-Beasts because it's easy to burn an insect, and it's difficult for it to survive.
Flame-Type Soul-Beast is strong against the Plant-Type of Soul-beasts because fire consumes plants easily, and even though the fire is extinguished, the plants are damaged heavily.
They're strong against the Cold-type because fire melts ice.
Flame-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Metal-Type because metal conducts heat, and the fire is used to melt down metals.
They're weak against the Earth-type because if sand, dirt, or mud is thrown over a fire, the fire dies out.
Flame-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Boulder type because fire is easily extinguished if rocks are thrown over it, and because rocks can withstand extreme heat from the fire.
They're weak against The Liquid type because water extinguishes them.
Flame-Type Soul-Beasts resist the Light type because traditionally, fairies are mostly users of light and live in forests, and fire destroys the forests.
Fire, along with steel, is also considered manmade, which is anathema to light creatures like fairies. Interestingly, the Fairy-type isn't weak to them.
The Dragon type resists Flame-Type Soul-Beasts because, in ancient legends, dragons weren't affected by nature's principal forces (plants, water, fire, and electricity). Besides, most dragons in legends breathe fire.
They resist themselves because trying to fight fire with fire would increase the flame.

Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts or Water Types
Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts formed a perfectly triangular relationship with Flame and Plant.
There are more Soul-Beasts of this type than any other type due to a large number of marine creatures to base species from.
Most Soul-Beasts of this type also have another type, representing the biodiversity of marine creatures.
The liquid is notably the second type to have been paired with every other type.
Most Liquid-type Soul-Beasts are based on creatures that live on the water or use Liquid for their disposition.
Their attacks involve the use of water, if not, attacks that can be done only by marine creatures.

Liquid-type moves are not very effective against:

Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Flame type because water puts the fire out.
They're strong against the Earth-type because ground becomes weak when it is soaked, and dirt washes away when water is sprayed over something dirty.
Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Boulder type because water erodes rocks.
They're weak against the Energy type because water is a good conductor of electricity and since electricity is a form of energy and water is a chemical compound, electricity can split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. Also, if one is in the water while it's conducting the electricity, they can get electrocuted.
Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Plant type because plants absorb water for their survival.
They resist the Cold type because ice melts when it's in touch with a liquid. Another reason could be that ice is just frozen water.
Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts resist the Metal type because water oxidizes most metals and makes them rust. Strangely, the Metal type isn't weak to them.
The Draconic type resists Liquid-Type Soul-Beasts because, in ancient legends, dragons were unaffected by the principal forces of nature (plants, water, fire, and electricity). Also, water dragons were common in legends.
They resist themselves because adding water to another source of water increases the source, and you can't soak anyone who's already wet.

Energy-Type Soul-Beasts or Thunder Type
The Energy-Type is a type of Soul-Beasts that have electricity-oriented powers.
They possess electro-kinetic abilities, being able to control, store, or even produce electricity.
Energy-Type Soul-Beasts have varied habitats, from forests, prairies, cities, and power plants.
Energy-Type Soul-Beasts are usually fast, and many of their attacks may paralyze the target.
Some Energy-Type Soul-Beasts also resemble artificial objects used by humans that can relate to electricity.

They do not affect the Earth-type because, in real life, the ground is a natural sink of electrons hence the term ”grounded”. Also, electrical appliances don't work when dirt gets into them.
Energy-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Wind-type because while in the air, they don't make contact with the ground, so they can't divert the electricity, so they're susceptible to strong electrical currents and it's easy for thunder to hit something that's flying.
They're strong against the Liquid-type because water is a natural electricity conductor, and if one is in the water, it gets electrocuted as well.
The Draconic-type resists Energy-Type Soul-Beasts because, in old legends, dragons were immune to the natural forces, electricity included.
The Plant-type resists them because plants and trees are made of materials that don't conduct electricity, like wood and rubber. Also, trees divert the electricity to the ground with their roots.
Energy-Type Soul-Beasts resist the Metal type because all kinds of metal alloys are great electrical conductors, positive magnetism attracts metal to the point of trapping it, and negative magnetism can repel metal. Something interesting about this is the Metal-type isn't weak to them.
They resist themselves because adding electricity to another source of electricity increases the source.
There are electrical fly swatters in real life that are used to kill bugs. However, the Energy type isn't super effective against Insect types.

Plant-Type Soul-Beasts
Plant-Type formed a perfectly triangular relationship with Fire and Water.
Many Plant-Type types are based on real-world plants.
Many Plant-Type Soul-Beasts also belong to the Plant Egg Group.
Several Plant-Types are paired with the venom type, reflecting the toxicity of several plants towards main humans.
Most Plant-Types are also simply animals with plant life attached to them
In terms of direct attacks, Plant-Types use draining moves, or attacks with leaves, vines, petals, wood, or sunlight.
Plant-Type moves are super-effective against:
Liquid, earth, and Boulder-Type of Soul-beasts
Plant-Type moves are not very effective against:
Flame, Plant, Venom, Wind, Insect, Draconic, and Metal-type of Soul-Beasts

They're strong against The Boulder type because plants can crack stones and rocks using their roots.
Plant-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against The Liquid type because plants absorb water for their benefit.
They're weak against The Insect type because insects eat plants.
Plant-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against The Flame type because fire can easily burn plants.
They're weak against The Wind type because many birds eat parts of plants (like fruits and leaves).
Also, an extremely powerful wind gust can cause plants to be uprooted.
Plant-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against The Cold type because plants can't resist frost, and die most of the time as a result.
They're weak against The Venom type because herbicides like weedkillers are used to exterminate unwanted herbs.
It could also be said that Poison represents pollution and Grass represents nature, and nature is damaged thanks to pollution.
Plant-Type Soul-Beasts are resistant to the Energy type because plants are made of materials that don't conduct electricity, like wood.
Also, plants divert electricity to the ground.
The Metal type resists Plant-Type Soul-Beasts because plants can't degrade metals.
It might also come from the fact that machines (like weed-whackers and lawnmowers) are often used to kill plants.
The Draconic type resists them because, in ancient mythology, dragons were immune to forces of nature (Grass, Water, Electric, and Fire).
Plant-Type Soul-Beasts resist their types because plants send out oxygen to another plant for their benefits like photosynthesis.

Cold-Type Soul-Beasts or Frost types
Cold-Type Soul-Beastsstands out for being able to endure very low temperatures, as well as adapting to freezing weather.
They control ice at will.
Their habitats go from the top of mountains, frozen caves, and caverns, or even the poles.
Many Cold-type moves have chances of freezing the target, which prevents them from attacking until they thaw out.
Cold-Type moves are super-effective against:
Plant, Earth, Wind, and Draconic-Type of Soul-beasts
Cold-Type moves are not very effective against:
Flame, Liquid, Cold, and Metal-Type of Soul-Beasts

Cold-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Draconic type because all dragons are depicted as reptiles, which are cold-blooded creatures that can't stand low temperatures.
Something interesting about this is that the insect type isn't weak to them.
They're strong against the wind type because most birds migrate away during the cold seasons.
It could also be because flying animals have trouble flying when their wings are frozen.
Cold-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Plant type because most plants can't stand low temperatures, similar to reptiles.
They're strong against the Earth-type because the earth becomes fragile when frozen and ice erodes it.
Cold-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Flame type because heat from the fire melts ice.
They're weak against the Brawler type because some fighters break the ice when training.
This is similar to the reason why the Rock and Steel types are weak to Fighting types.
Cold-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Boulder type because rock, being harder than ice, can break it.
They're weak against the Metal type because the metal is much harder than ice, and metal tools like shovels, ice picks, and certain machines are used to shatter the ice.
The Liquid type resists them because ice melts when it touches a liquid.
Cold-Type Soul-Beasts resist themselves because the ice that's used to attack another source of ice will break.

Brawler-Type Soul-Beast or Warrior Types
Soul-Beast of this type were specialists in melee attacks, such as punches and kicks.
It could be said that they're the opposite to Mind-type Soul-Beast because while Soul-Beast of that type depends primarily on Ranged Combat attack, Soul-Beast of the Brawler-type depends mostly on physical attacks.
Most Brawler-type Soul-Beast has a human-like body shape because they represent practitioners of various martial arts, which tend to be real-world humans.
Some Brawler-type Soul-Beast is represented by looking like fighters while others are represented by being based on a certain type of fighting style
They can also be represented by simply just having incredible strength.

Brawler-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Mind type because the brain also regulates all muscle functions in most animals, and the most skilled masterminds can overpower the most skilled fighters, hence the term ”brains over brawn” and ”mind over matter”.
Brawler-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Wind type because it's been long said that height is a large advantage when it comes to battle.
As it's difficult to hit something that's moving in the air and that dropping attacks have the advantage of gravitational acceleration when it comes to attacking.
It may also be because doves are symbols of peace.
They're weak against the Light type because physical strength can't do anything against magic, especially when the welders of magic can put a spell on them.
Brawler-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Evil type because it's a common theme in martial arts and fighting fiction that goodness always wins, and a fighter must be prepared to face his/her fears, some of which are represented by the Evil type.
They resist the Insect type because fighters, with their strength, can easily withstand bugs.
The Insect type is resistant to Brawler-Type Soul-Beasts because bugs generally have an exoskeleton that can protect them from blows.
This is also evident as these Pokémon of that type are much bigger than average insects.
The Venom type resists them because the body is a fighter's weapon, and it can be damaged by poison. Interestingly, they're not weak to the Venom-type.
Brawler-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the cold, Boulder, and Metal types because ice can be shattered with a strong punch, some fighters are trained to destroy rocks, and steel objects can be easily bent.
They're strong against the Standard type because a fighter can easily beat a normal person.
The Spirit type is immune to Brawler-Type Soul-Beasts because it's impossible to hit an incorporeal being. However, the Brawler type is neutral to the Spirit type.

These Soul-Beasts have a natural toxic quality.
*Some directly represent earth species from Jomel's past life, known for their venom, such as snakes, and some even represent pollution itself.*
Venom-Type Soul-Beasts normally live in caves, marshes, or similar places.
Most Venom-type Soul-Beasts are so poisonous or venomous. Most dual Venom-type Soul-Beasts have Insect-type or Plant-type as their other type.
This reflects how, in real life, many insects and plants are poisonous.
The Venom type is related to the status effects Poisoned and Badly Poisoned, which are produced mostly by Venom-type moves.

Venom-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Light-type because fairies are the holder of lights that represents purity and poison that represent pollution, and thus fairies have weak immune systems.
They're strong against the Plant-type because trees and plants are damaged by pollution and toxins, such as herbicides.
Venom-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the earth-type because earthen and sandy features neutralize and mitigate the toxicity of poison, making them less effective.
Alternatively, it could be because while living organisms and thus the Earth's biosphere may be devastated by pollution, the Earth itself is relatively unchanged by it.
Venom-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the mind-type because the mind can't be poisoned.
The poison acts over the body, and the mind is superior to the body, while Psychic-type attacks are mental.
Alternatively, it may be because going into a medical field requires a lot of education and knowledge, giving the idea of keeping poisons at bay, hence the term ”mind over matter”.
Venom-Type Soul-Beasts resist the brawler-type because when poisoned, a fighter or deports loses strength.
Fighters try to be healthy as most as they can and poison can make them sick.
It could also be said that since some Venom-type Soul-Beasts have a gelatinous body, punches and kicks cushion the impact.
Curiously, the brawler type isn't weak to them.
The Spirit-type resists Venom-Type Soul-Beasts because the spirit doesn't have a physical form, thus toxins can't pass through.
Additionally, if you try to poison a corpse, the corpse won't be affected because it's already dead.
The Boulder-type resists them because since rocks aren't alive creatures, poison can hardly damage them.
The Metal-type is immune to Venom-Type Soul-Beasts because poison can't circulate through or penetrate metals, mainly because they're not organic materials.
They resist themselves because venomous animals can't poison each other.

Earth-Type Soul-Beasts
Earth-type Soul-Beast has powers and abilities related to control of ground and earth.
Earth-type Soul-Beast is afraid of water, like Boulder-type Soul-Beast, unless they are Liquid type. Many earth Soul-Beasts are also partially Boulder type.
These Soul-Beasts are normally found in caves or rocky terraexcepton of some dual typed Pokémon.
One bad thing about them is that they can't normally come off the ground, even though they are pretty good combatants when they are below the Earth's surface.
Earth-type moves are super-effective against:
Flame, Energy, Venom, Boulder, and Metal-Type of Soul-Beasts
Earth-type moves are not very effective against:
Plant and Insect-Type of Soul-Beasts

Earth-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the flame type because ground, mud, and sand are usually used to put off a fire, that's because the ground suffocates the fire, letting it without any oxygen.
They're strong against the Venom type because if you drop any venom into the ground, this ends by disappearing.
Alternatively, it could be because while pollution has devastating effects on organic life, it doesn't affect the Earth itself.
Earth-Type Soul-Beasts are strong against the Boulder type because a sandstorm can erode rocks, also because an earthquake can break rocks.
They're strong against the metal type because a sandstorm impedes machines like cars.
After all, the oil lubricates their gears and with sand, dirt, or mud, the oil doesn't work. Also, earthquakes destroy metallic structures.
Earth-Type Soul-Beasts are weak against the Plant type because plants absorb minerals from it and open through the ground using their roots.
Also, buildings made of wood withstand earthquakes.
They're weak against the cold and Liquid types about erosion. Also because earth becomes weak when it's wet or frozen.
Earth-Type Soul-Beasts are immune against the Energy type because in real life, the ground is a natural sink of electrons, and electrical appliances don't work when filled with dirt.
Also, earthquakes destroy power lines.
The Insect type resists them because many bugs like worms live inside the ground and many of them eat it.
