Chapter 7:Notice (1/2)
*Thug* *Thug* *Thug*
A heavy footstep was heard coming in Jomel's direction.
He saw a tall man in a soldier knight-like uniform.
Jomel knew this armory and composition because of past Jomel's memory, and only high-ranking individuals are usually allowed to wear this kind of clothing. Because it looks like medieval knight clothing, The Under-Clothes consisted of a linen under-shirt and linen under-pants.
Woolen stockings covered the legs.
A knight's Underclothes were important as they prevented the armor from chafing the knight's skin. A padded garment known by various names such as Aketon, Arming coat, Doublet, Gambeson, Hacketon consisted of a quilted coat that was either sewn or stuffed with linen or even grass.
This served as padding for additional armor worn over the top. A Surcoat was a robe, with a belt around the waist, which was placed over the body armor. The surcoat was emblazoned with the coat of arms or device of the Knight to identify the knight in battle.
This suit of armor was extremely expensive to produce.
This knight's suit of armor had to be tailor-made to fit the knight exactly. Any Incorrect sizing of a knight's suit of armor would be extremely dangerous as it could hamper the knight's ability to fight. The knight's suit of armor was also a status symbol. The better quality of the knight's suit of armor, the more important was the Knight.
A knight's suit of armor was strong enough to protect the knight but light enough to allow quick movement on the battlefield.
This armor was a complex series of garments, chain mail, and iron plate. Usually, every part of the armor is from body parts of a terrifying soul-beast that are estimated at a level of eighty to a hundred. It is also designed according to the transformation of a Soul-Beast Tamer into their humanoid Soul-beast battle form.
In earlier chapters, it was mentioned that if a level something like eighty who can only stay in level one to a one hundred.
Goes up to higher realms, the will energy will destroy the person who stayed too long in their not supposed to be realm level.
The same thing applies to weapons- they could only recreate in there with materials in their respective higher realms.
For example, if a certain powerhouse from lower realms gave armor to his descendant, and the descendant comes down to lower-level realms.
Those treasures and armors would crumble into dust by realm power and restriction.
No one knows the reason why, but it is what it is.
Jomel is sure that this guy had an extremely powerful background or a talented Soul-Beast Tamer that is nurtured by humanity itself. The tall man in a soldier knight-like uniform came to stop when he noticed that jomel was already looking at him. He turned his back on Jomel and said ”Soldier, follow me..”
Jomel complied and followed the tall soldier knight.
A minute later…
They came to a lab that is full of Weapons, gadgets, and many more that are unfamiliar to him and to the memories that he had taken. He is walking while thinking. Can a wolverine kill a man? No, He is not so sure about that, Even though he research a man killed by a wolverine or he forgot.
Let's look at the facts. A big wolverine is around the same size as a medium-sized dog, not that much smaller than a wolf. If everything that is written about these super-weasels they are one of the strongest animals for their size, pound for pound.
On top of this, they are without fear, incredibly ferocious and armed with huge, sharp claws and crushing jaws.
It's beginning to sound a little less of a fantastic idea already. Given their previous form with reports of them bringing down both predators and prey many times their size I'm beginning to side with the wolverine here. Wolverines have one more thing in their favor, they can run on snow.
In their environment, this would give them a big advantage, and there would certainly be no running away. And the Soul-Beast he will be facing is a giant compared to that, he is not sure that it is not a bear because of how it moves.
While crocodiles…
A crocodile especially a saltwater crocodile is the largest of all the crocodilians, and only the second reptile other than the Nile crocodile would consume human beings. The rest of the crocodiles, large snakes, and lizards either have never eaten human beings or it is very rare, and not worth tallying.
