Chapter 44：Marcelin meets the Twins (1/2)

”Hey, I'm surprised you are here. This is Marcelin.” Jurion gestured his hands to Marcelin with palms up. ”Marcelin this is Ana's and Terra.” he introduced the ladies.

”We finally met you. Marcelin huh.” Terra smiled and walked towards them. Ana was beside her.

”Hello! I'm Ana.” She slightly lowered her head and smiled.

Marcelin was surprised, she didn't know how to react because she can't understand what they are saying.

”Who are they?” Marcelin tugged on Jurion clothes.

”Oh, they're my friends.”

”What are you two talking about?” Terra asked as she doesn't recognize the language they spoke.

”Oh yeah!” Jurion palmed his face. ”I forgot you both speak different languages. This is difficult, she was asking who are you guys.”

The twins went near Marcelin.

”Well, introduce us then.” Terra smiled and offered her right hand.

Marcelin got scared and hid from Jurion's back.

Terra was taken aback by Marcelin's reaction, she lowered her hand.

”Don't worry they're not dangerous.” Jurion tried to calm Marcelin down.

”Why do they dress like that? And the ears.”

”Right. They are called elves and they're from another planet.”

”Come, there is nothing to worry about, they are harmless.” Jurion looked at Marcelin with a very calm expression.

Marcelin reached for Terra's hand and shook it. ”I'm Marcelin nice to meet you.”

Terra smiled meeting her gaze.

”I'm Ana, nice to meet you, Marcelin.” She extends her hand as well with a kind and loving face.

Marcelin shook Ana's hand.

A moment of silence.

”This is awkward,” Ana said.

[Yeah. Oh my. At least in acalanatha we are open about relationships. Ana's and Terra seemed to have an open mind as well but Marcelin, I'm not really sure. How should we proceed with this?] Jurion pondered.

”I have an idea! Come.” Jurion went to a place in the room where the providence was located. The trio went with him.

”Tell me about your alphabets.” Jurion's face tilted towards Ana as he sat in a chair. He took one of the chairs and offered Ana to sit beside him. He grabbed the mouse and start pressing on the buttons, a clicking sounds can be heard, and then he began to type on the keyboard.

”Come again?” Ana was confused, she stared at the weird-looking machine Jurion was operating.

”I'm going to make a way for you to communicate by using this.” Jurion pointed to the laptop in front of him.

”Tell me your alphabets and how it is pronounced and some basic information like...” Jurion asked about basic sentence construction and basic information about their language.

”Oh, I get it! Okay.” Ana complied, she was a fast learner and immediately got Jurion's idea. She believed in him since she witnessed some weird stuff about technology he kept on mentioning.

”This will take a while so you might want to sit down and relax.” He explained to Terra and Marcelin in a different language.

”Right. Give me one of those sodas please!” Terra begged.

”Sure.” Jurion and Terra went to the refrigerator to fetch the drinks and gave soda to Marcelin and Ana.

Marcelin noticed Terra fondled Jurion's hand in a familiar way when she took the soda from him. She wondered if they have the same kind of drink from their planet.

Terra sat beside Marcelin on a couch while Jurion and Ana were busy working on the laptop.

A couple of hours past Terra looked bored. She has 10 cans of soda piling up beside her. Marcelin keeps on offering Terra more and she happily accepted, a moment later she started to play with the dogs and cats, she loved the animals so much she said she wants one.
