Chapter 16：Goblins (1/2)
In an unknown location Jurion appeared in the midst of a forest.
The imprint on his left hand glowed faint blue the faded.
He felt the pebbles beneath his feet.
”Come to think of it, I need shoes and armors. I hope those goblins have decent things I can use.”
Something in the bushes rustled, Jurion quickly run and put his back on a tree. His eyesight gazed straight ahead, to the left, then right, no signs of enemy. He crouched and sneak at the back of the tree where he hid, a furred animal was grazing.
[Phew! I thought I was discovered by the goblins.] Jurion wiped his forehead with his right arm.
Slowly he navigated the forest, he saw unfamiliar vegetation, insects and animals.
Then loud noises can be heard straight ahead. He sneaked to the location cautiously.
Hidden under a big lumber, he heard incomprehensible murmurs and witnessed a group of 10 tiny goblins in a clearing.
Little green monsters are about 4 feet tall, butchering a furred animal like what he saw before.
[I thought omnilingual skill can decipher the languages of other races. Why can't I understand what they are saying.]
[These goblins are incapable of speaking language, they communicate using grunts and pheromones.]
[I see, that's why.]

This information appeared in Jurion's mind after he stared at one of the green creature.
[So they can easily be corrupted huh, I hope I can kill them in one strike.]

A goblin fell on the ground lifeless after getting hit by a fire bullet in the head.
His fellow goblins tilted their head looking at the corpse.
Then another goblin fell, startled they started to scream and run everywhere and looked where the attack is coming from. Wooden clubs in each hand ready to maul their target.
Bang!
Another goblin fell down. The goblin next to it saw his comrade fell and looked into the bushes where Jurion is hiding.
”Yyahhhhh!”
”Eheeee!”
”Yaaahhhhh!”
The goblin sprinted towards Jurion's location. Other goblins noticed their companion and run at the same direction waving their clubs in the air.
”Shit, fearless bastards!” Jurion stood up, he released a spray of fire bullets which pierced the charging goblins.
Pow!
Pow!
Pow!
One by one they dropped dead before they even got close to him.
Only tattered shorts, wooden clubs and a rusty knife was found after he inspected the corpses.
Main Quest:
Slay 500 Goblins.
Rewards 1600 Exp.
Progress: 10/500.
He decided to follow the river upstream hoping to find what he is looking for. At the end of the river he saw a waterfall 10 meters high flowing down to a lake. There's some fishes swimming.
He decided to rest for a moment and sat on the edge of the river, he sunk his feet in the water. The cool sensation on his lower limbs put him in a relaxed state.
[”I haven't enjoyed this scenery for a while, I can't believe this planet is infested with such creatures.]
Jurion relished the view while he talked to himself.
After 10 minutes or so, he heard a commotion in the woods, a much larger group of goblins emerged.
Jurion quickly hid himself in the nearby shrubs out of view.
The group consist of goblin minions holding short swords and a wooden shields. Among them several taller and more muscular goblins each holding swords, axes and hammers.
Several women from unknown race, their hands and feet bounded in chains wearing bloody armors, wounds apparent in their faces and bodies.
The goblins put their faces on the river and drunk.
One goblin tried to give a cup of water to one of the woman but the she refused and cried.
The goblin got irritated and beat the girl, after the green guy was satisfied it smiled delivering another blow of its club to her head, the rest of the goblins laughed.
Jurion used Demon Eyes while he crouched under the bush.

Damn bastards!
Why do they need to be ruthless, they already captured them.
No need to torture them further.
I can't beat this group with my current strength.
But need to find their camp so I can plan my approach later.]
The group of the goblins started to move.
Jurion on their back tracking them.
After a long march they reach their hideout.
A cave at the foot of a hill.
All the goblins went inside.
It was too dark to see the inside from the distance.
And there are goblins patrolling the entrance.
Jurion waited patiently and recovered all of his energy.
It has gotten dark.
Pow, pow pow!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Three goblins dead.
The goblins were alerted, they moved forward looking for the attacker.
Pow pow pow!
Several more fire bullets flew across the distance, head, eyes and abdomen perforated, some fire bullets went through and through hitting the goblin behind which killed hem both.
All of the goblins guarding the entrance fell, most of them died immediately but some injured greatly requiring another fire bullet to finish the job.
The goblins inside the cave noticed that their comrades outside were falling down, the angry lots started to run outside, they meet their end by the rapid fire bullets targeting them.
