Jurion squeezed her hands and she woke up.
”What happened with the experiment?”
”You passed out. You made us worry. How do you feel?” a look of worry in her eyes.
”I feel fine. Did Professor Garth mentioned any improvements?”
”Yes, he said that he was able to gather significant amount of data and but still insufficient. You can't do it again please!” Her brows knitted together, her eyes teary.
”Of course.” Jurion with a disappointed expression.
After a week of recovery Jurion browsing his military reports, an enraged expression formed in his face, ”Damn yarramans, planning to attack another planet again!” He hissed.
In Garth's office, Jurion with a serious face, ”Prof. Garth, we need to continue with the experiment.” his hands on top of Garth's table.
”We can't.”
”Why not?”
”Knowing your stubbornness, your father specifically ordered me to stop experimenting in you.”
”He won't know if we don't tell him.”
”That will be out of the question.”
”You don't understand professor, we don't have much choice, we are losing this war, can't you see it? This is our only hope!”
”If I help you and you die during the process, your father will kill me too you know.”
”If we lose this war you will suffer same fate right? At least you can say we tried our best.”
A unimaginable long time of silence occurred in the room.
Garth's dumbfounded expression pondered on Jurion's words.
”I suppose you are right, damn kid! Okay I will help you but your father must not know.”
”Yes! Of course!”
”Hit me.”
”What?”
”You heard me.”
”Oh, I see. I'm sorry for this professor. I promise I will compensate you for this.”
”You better be, just go on with it.” he sighed.
After Garth was beaten almost to death by Jurion to make it looked like he forced him to get his access to the laboratory.
Jurion increased all the power output to maximum inside the same laboratory and sat on the chair.
Violent electrical sparks exudes from the metal balls and hit Jurion.
He convulsed, a blinding light appeared inside the room and abruptly vanished together with Jurion's body. No single trace of him left in the room.
In her office, Guiliana stood in front of the window and looked at the horizon, she clasped her chest, an unexplainable feeling of dread arose from her heart.
