If he didn't want it, both he and the child would starve to death and the child would always be sitting on the small stool by himself waiting for A Qing to return. But this afternoon, he had been waiting for A Qing to come back, and the child was extremely hungry, so he didn't know who was cooking at home, but the fragrance that drifted along with the chimney kept on drifting into the pine forest, and through the iron window, it drifted into the child's nose. His stomach growled, and he was really too hungry, so he pushed open the door and walked out.

When Elder Zhang returned from selling pearls in the city, he saw a kid dressed in an adult's shirt, with his hands and legs hidden, walking out of the Red Brick House. His black hair was cut like a dog's, his face was black and yellow, and with a roll of his eyes, he almost scared the Elder Zhang to the point of throwing out the black bag that was holding money.

”Oh my god!”

Elder Zhang's shout scared the kid so much that he ran back to the Red Brick House. Bang! The door was flung to the ground and it started to shake.

”Pah pah!” Elder Zhang spat out the dust in his mouth and said with a face full of surprise: ”Where did this kid come from?”

Elder Zhang did not dare push the door open, so he went to the window and peeked inside. After looking for a long time, he still did not see anything.

Elder Zhang's face suddenly paled. ”Could it be that I've really seen a ghost in broad daylight?”

When he thought about the little kid that died in this house, the hairs on Elder Zhang's body all stood up. He quickly retreated out of the house, staggered home, and arrived at his house in a flash. Old Lady Zhang knew that he came back every day at this hour, and brought two big blue bowl with him to fill up two bowls of rice.

”You're back? Hurry up and eat. ”

Old Lady Zhang scooped the meat into the bowl of Elder Zhang and mixed it with meat oil before starting to eat it. It was a little salty but there was still the flavor of the meat.

However, when he turned his head, he saw that the people standing at the entrance of Elder Zhang looked like they had gone stupid. He casually said, ”What are you daydreaming for, hurry up and eat, normally you'll be like a hungry ghost when you come back, why do you look like you've seen a ghost today?”

When the Old Lady Zhang said this, the people of the Elder Zhang trembled, and walked over and said: ”Hey, don't say anymore, I saw a ghost!”

Elder Zhang put down his bag, picked up his bowl and ate a few mouthfuls in succession to calm himself down.

There are many ghost stories in the countryside, and Elder Zhang is timid. Old Lady Zhang would love to hear these, so she quickly urged: ”What did you hear today? ”Tell me quickly.”

”What rumors, I saw them with my own eyes!”

Elder Zhang glared, telling his what he saw when he passed by the Red Brick House, saying that the child must be the one that died at the Red Brick House back then.
