133 Food and Training (1/2)

Seeing the sun slowly rise, Rei stood up from his location as he had been keeping watch the entire night.

Rei had a sudden thought as he couldn't help but smile.

'Xiao Wu hadn't tried my cooking has she. It'll be a nice surprise for them.' Rei thought making his way to the kitchen.

Looking at the ingredients around the place, Rei thought about what he would cook. Finalising his idea, Rei placed tens of gold in a bag before leaving it on the table to pay for the ingredients.

Wearing an apron, Rei started to cook.

*Yawn...

Xiao Wu yawned as she rubbed her eyes. She looked besides her and saw her mother hugging her and realised that yesterday wasn't a dream and that her family was with her.

”Wake up mama, it's morning.” Xiao Wu said nudging Bai Wu's shoulder slightly.

”Hm? Darling? Good morning.”

(っ- ‸ – ς) Bai Wu said yawning slightly before giving Xiao Wu a kiss on the forehead.

”Where's dad?” Xiao Wu asked as Bai Wu got off the bed and stretched lightly.

”Oh him? Your dad is in the kitchen making food.” Bai Wu said as she sent out her senses to find Rei.

”Oh darling you've never tried your fathers cooking. It's the best food you will ever eat.”

ლ(´ڡ`ლ) Bai Wu said giving Xiao Wu a deep hug as she dragged her away to the kitchen.

Xiao Wu smiled happily as she got to enjoy a family breakfast.

”You two, the food should be ready soon.” Rei said looking behind him.

”Hehe darling look at you with the apron on.”

(⺣◡⺣)♡*Bai Wu said seeing Rei cook.

Rei only shrugged as he made the final touches on the food before passing it to both of them.

”WAA! What's the nice smell!! Got any food for me!?!?!” Ma Hong Jun shouted out as he slammed the door open showing off the rest of the gang drawn in by the smell.

”No fatty make your own. My food's only for my wife and daughter.” Rei said as he put away his apron. Xiao Wu took a bite and was surprised at how good the food was. She was about to take more bites when she saw Tang San and got up as she ran over to drag him next to her.

”Good morning master.” Tang San said bowing just before he sat down. Rei nodded as he also sat down with his own food.

”Brother try this, it's my dad's cooking and it's really good!” Xiao Wu said eagerly as she was about to feed Tang San with the same spoon she used to eat with.

*Bam!

Rei placed his food in front of Tang San as he stopped Xiao Wu from feeding him with her spoon.

”Tang San here's your food, no need to eat from Xiao Wu's.” Rei said as he didn't want them to have an indirect kiss.

”Darling what about your food?”

( •́ _ •̀)? Bai Wu asked as she saw Rei give his food away.

”It's fine, I can go years without eating.” Rei said truthfully since he just needs energy at this point.

”Hmm say ahh~”

(๑‾ ꇴ ‾๑) Bai Wu grinned as she gestured for Rei to eat the food on her spoon.

”Er...we're still here.” Fatty said jealous that they're eating such delicious smelling foods.

”What about it?” Rei said as he relented to Bai Wu and ate off her spoon as embarrassing as it was.

”Come on dad, they're my friends. Make them some food as well please~” Xiao Wu said giving Rei the puppy dog eyes. Bai Wu giggled seeing the strongest man in the world bend to the whims of his daughter.

”Thank you Xiao- no I mean Goddess Wu!” Fatty said as he tried to hug Xiao Wu's legs only to be blocked by both Tang San and Rei forcing him to back away in fear.

Rei quickly made some simple dishes for everyone as they all ate with tears of joy in their eyes.

Half way through the meal, Tang San suddenly frowned as he felt pain on his back.

”Excuse me for a while.” Tang San said as he tried to leave but Xiao Wu held his arm.

”Brother what's wrong?” Xiao Wu asked.

”Nothing, it's fine.” Tang San said quickly leaving the room while Rei frowned.

”Darling do you know what's wrong with Xiao San?”
