116 Clear sky clan (1/2)

In the carriage Rei was looking at the two douluo's infront of him while Bai Wu sat on his lap with a loving smile.

”So, I've got a question for you two.” Rei said as the two douluo's perked up.

”Why would you invite me, who could kill you, to your clan? Right after I beat you at that.” Rei said.

”This...” The sword douluo hesitated as he looked at the clear sky douluo. The clear sky douluo nodded as the sword douluo sighed.

”This is a gamble. We're trusting your moral since spirit hall is getting more and more out of hand. I suspect that they have already killed several of my sword disciples.” The sword douluo said with a sigh.

”Hou~ and what about your clan Tang Hu?” Rei asked the clear sky douluo.

”Hais, my situation is the same as old sword over here. The spirit hall is becoming wary at our essence spirits. Both are in the top 3 of attack power and they know our clans share a good relationship.” The clear sky douluo said with a sigh.

”So you're gambling on me?” Rei asked raising an eyebrow.

”Who in the right mind would gamble on your enemy?” Rei asked once more.

The two douluo's look at Rei with serious expressions.

”Who would let two titled douluo's go when they're at deaths door? Plus since we're going to be against spirit hall in the first place. Whether we die now or later, we have a much larger chance of survival with you.” The sword douluo said.

”Hmm...Lei, this spirit hall has really increased their appetites haven't they? 3000 years ago when we saw them they held power yet now they still want more.” Bai Wu said with a huff. ( ｀ Д ´ )

Rei chuckled as he patted her head.

”That's just human nature. Greed.” Rei said while the clear sky douluo couldn't help but nod his head.

”Indeed, greed is part of human nature we can't get rid of. Greed for power, greed for love, greed for safety.” The clear sky douluo said.

The sword douluo however frowned slightly when he heard Bai Wu.

”Wait...3000 years ago when we saw them?” The sword douluo said as the clear sky douluo also looked over when he heard the quote.

While Rei had a indifferent face Bai Wu was another matter.

”Wait that's not right...While I have heard of beast turning human at 100,000 years. They have to reach god or they have the same life spans of humans. You wouldn't have been here 3000 years ago or you would be dead.” The sword douluo said with a shake of his head.

”Ah true, sorry young lady. Old sword must have shocked you with that didn't he?” The clear sky apologised.

”Ah-hahaha yeah that really shocked me when he said that....” Bai Wu trailed off nervously.

'System, the sword douluo makes a good point. While I maybe immortal Bai Wu isn't so why is she having a much longer lifespan?' Rei asked shocked from the realisation.

Rei only sighed before looking back at Bai Wu.

”Nothing, just happy that you're with me.” Rei said with a small smile.

”When we're alone.” Rei said as he kissed her forehead.

It was only now that Bai Wu realised that the two douluo's were still here.

She blushed heavily as she hid her face in Rei's chest. Rei only chuckled.

It didn't take long for the carriage to arrive at the clear sky clan. Bai Wu looked around in curiosity as the clan looked better than the city. There were buildings laid out in a grandiose manner, disciples training and sparring.
