112 Spirit arena (1/2)
Rei and Bai Wu signed up for the duo matches as Rei will be able to help if anything goes wrong.
Rei and Bai Wu got their numbers while the assistant was slightly confused.
'Why is he bringing a blind woman...' He thought.
”The opponents will be matched based on your spirit ranks. May you show me your rings and tell me your ranks please.” The assistant said as Bai Wu nodded.
”Bai Wu, rank 38 spirit elder.” Bai Wu said showing off her rings. 2 yellow 1 purple.
”Rei, rank 40 spirit elder.” Rei said as he sent out pressure equivalent to a rank 40.
”Sir spirit ring please.” The assistant said as he wanted to see Rei's spirit rings to confirm.
”Hmm ok, just don't shit yourself.” Rei said as be sent out his 850,000 year Might of Atlas ring. The ring glowed with silver and red while the titan in the middle held up the heavens.
”!!!!!!” The assistant was shell shocked as he knew what a 100,000+ year ring meant.
'The hell do you mean by rank 40 spirit elder?!?! Arn't you clearly a titled douluo!?!' The assistant thought. However, the device that they used to detect spirit power clearly showed he had 3 rings. While this was a prototype, it had determined everyone's spirit ring correctly.
”Ah yes, but due to your ring, you two shall be put into the spirit ancestor(41-50) group is that ok?” The assistant said bowing slightly not daring to look Rei into the eye.
”Hmm that'll work too. Bai Wu, you can get some practice with people above your rank.” Rei said looking back at Bai Wu.
Bai Wu smiled as she hugged Rei's arm.
”And if I can't handle it, Rei would help me right?” She asked.
Rei smiled gently as he patted her head.
”I have full trust in you. And if anything does go out of hand I'll be here.” Rei said as he took her to the arena.
The assistant could only stare with a dumb look.
'Titled douluo bro, this is a fighting arena ok? It's not a dating spot.' The assistant thought as he only shook his head and prepared to report this to the head of the spirit arena.
Making his way to the head office, the assistant knocked on the door.
*Knock knock knock
”Come in...” A voice said as the assistant walked into the room. In the room the assistant could see the head of the spirit arena looking down on the arena. More specifically at Rei and Bai Wu.
”Boss, there is a participant that has a 100,000 year ring. The device shows that he is only a rank 40 spirit elder. What shall we do with him.” The assistant said.
”Hmmmm what to do....” The leader said as he looked at Rei and saw him stare back at him.
”Nothing yet, let him do what he wants. Also, send two of the best spirit ancestors we have.” The leader spoke as he broke the eye contact with Rei.
”Understood.” The assistant said exiting the room and closed the door behind him.
'100,000 year ring....I wonder how he managed to get one as a rank 40 spirit elder...' The leader thought with a slight hint of greed appear in his eyes.
Meanwhile...
”Lei? Is there anything wrong?” Bai Wu asked seeing Rei stare at a room high above the arena.
”Nothing, just another greedy human having thoughts about my spirit ring.” Rei said shaking his head.
”Another idiot?” Bai Wu asked frowning causing Rei to chuckle slightly.
”Never mind him, if he wants to come let him come. I'll take care of him when he does.' Rei said as he turned to the match ups for tonight.
[Rei(rank 40) + Bai Wu(rank 38) VS Chen Ming (Rank 48) + Chen Guang (Rank 49)]
”Hou~ Rank 48 and 49...The person wants to test our power.” Rei said as he saw the board.
”Bai Wu, lets go.” Rei said as their match was pushed up to be the next one.
Walking on to the stage, Rei could see two people looking at them with arrogance. Both were fairly tall as they had the same uniform and their facial features were close to being identical. The only difference used to tell them apart would be Chen Ming had hair tied to a low pony tail and Chen Guang had short hair.
”So twins.” Rei commented seeing the duo.
