The mammoth was blasted away like an arrow in flight.
”So my strength increase is much bigger than the 4th gate. With the assault mode active, my body should be able to withstand using the true tremorfruit.” Rei said as assault mode didn't take much mana as long as he controlled the expenditure.
The mammoth soon crawled out of the crater looking pissed as it swung his trunk towards Rei.
Using the dark element to form a shield, Rei tested the defensive capabilities.
*BOOM!
The trunk landed on the shield as a the result caused the ground Rei stood on to crack.
'So as long as the attack isn't doesn't surpass my current combat rank in one go it can block it as well as stay there provided that I keep a constant supply of mana.' Rei thought as he condensed a small ball of dark energy on his chest. The ball suddenly shot forwards spinning clockwise as it formed the shape of a drill.
”AAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!!!” The mammoth cried out in pain as it's whole body was pierced though.
Rei deactivated the assault mode as he walked towards the mammoth corpse.
Dragging it towards a location closer to the demon king, Rei traced out a large cleaver as he prepared to cut the food up.
The demon king watched as Rei prepared the food with great interest.
It didn't take long for the food to finish. Presenting the huge portion of food, Rei sat down and watched the demon king eat the food.
”AARRRGGGG! YOU DARE FEED ME THIS TRASH!!!” The demon king shouted in absolute disgust.
”Fuck!!! TURN OFF YOUR ABILITY!! Why the fuck would you turn the best dish you eat into the worst food?!?!?” Rei said exasperated.
The demon king could only stay silent as he had always have had a habit of keeping his ability active. Turning off the almighty, the demon took another bite of the food before widening his eyes, he had to restrain himself as much as he could to stop himself from losing control and devouring the food.
”This is not bad indeed.” The demon king commented as he took another bite.
”Hais, if it is not bad then this kind of mediocre food cannot be eating by someone of your status. I shall not cook ever again.” Rei lamented while he was snickering inside.
'Demon king, you dare say my food is not bad?! The I'll say I won't cook anymore.'
The demon king paused as he didn't think that this is how Rei would react.
”No it's fine, there is no one else to cook here so you can keep going.” The demon king called out.
”No no no, I have polluted you mouth with food that is 'not bad' only food that is amazing can be eaten by you.” Rei said pushing the demon king into the corner since if he wanted to eat this he'll have to discard what little pride he had.
”So be it....” The demon king said as he was about to eat again. But suddenly, he saw Rei take the dish away.
”What are you doing?! How dare you take this kings meal!” He called out not wanting to lose his last chance to eat this kind of food.
”Since this food polluted your mouth, I cannot continue to let you eat now can I?” Rei said.
'come on you overgrown bitch, you know if you want this you'll have to discard your pride and you can't kill me either since there won't be another that can cook like me.' Rei schemed in his mind.
”Fine.....” The demon king said whilst trying to clutch onto his remaining pride.
Everyday from then, Rei could make sure to cook flavour bombs each meal having the aroma fill the area, the demon king tried to resist by using the Almighty but only let to torturing himself more. And every time he turned off the Almighty, he would be lured by the smell that he almost wanted to pounce on the food. If was when he threw a perfectly good meal away acting like it was a failed dish. The demon king watched as the monster of purgatory ate the meal with delight that his will power started to crumble.
”FINE! THIS KING ADMITS THAT YOUR FOOD WAS THE BEST!!!!” The demon king shouted unable to hold it in anymore.
”There see, it wasn't so hard now was it.” Rei said as he gave the demon king a grin.
Making the food, Rei had started he scheme that he prepared during this time. The demon king didn't suspect a single thing due to his eagerness and ate the food with vigour.
Rei suddenly smiled as he snapped his fingers causing a golden chain to explode out of the food and wrapped around the full body of the demon king who had no time to use his ability before he was bound.
”WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!” The demon king shouted out in rage.
”Leaving, these chains are called Enkidu, they do wonders in sealing god like entities. So enjoy trying to take it off. But don't worry, they'll disappear in time. Only when I leave that is.” Rei said with a grin as he pull his middle finger out at the demon king. Rei could see the demon kings enraged face as he fell backwards into the gate of purgatory.
”ARRRRGGG BASTARD!!!” The demon king shouted seeing Rei escape.
As Rei escaped though the gate, he could feel that his mana reserves had almost completly emptied just by using Enkidu. He continued to fall when he saw a sudden burst of light causing him to shield his eyes.
