82 Festival part 2 (1/2)

The fight between King and Cain was simple, King was too weak without his weapon and Cain easily knocked him off the stage.

”King nii san, you should train up your body a little.” Rei said as he was cooking.

”Shut it, I'm more of a magic user unlike you who is an all rounder.” King said feeling bad over his loss.

”Well what can I say? I'm just like that. But here have some food to cheer up.” Rei said handing King a dish which he ate with vigour.

”Now then it should be time for dad vs Ban nii san.” Rei said as he pulled up a chair and prepared to watch. He never got a chance to see Meliodas use his demon mode so he wanted for The End to copy it today.

Everyone watched the fight whilst drinking as it was truly a show to behold. Soon, Meliodas seemed like he lost his strength whilst Ban seems like he was rearing for more. Rei took this as a sign to watch more carefully, he even used magic to improve his eye sight and recognition.

*BBBAAANNNGGGG!!!!!

A resounding explosion sounded out as Ban was hit away from the arena.

'Hou~ this demon mode is similar to the eight gates but uses mana and dark element instead of stamina.' Rei though as there could have been someway for him to combine the two together.

Soon Ban and Meliodas walked back smiling.

”Dad, Ban nii san. Did you have fun?” Rei asked as he stood up and made them two a drink.

”Yep hahaha captain is truly full of surprises.” Ban said drinking while Meliodas only smile.

Diane had also finished her match and was into the finals.

”Here Diane nee san congrats.” Rei handed her some juice with a smile.

”Thanks Rei chan.” Diane said as she smiled.

Now the only match left was between Meliodas and Cain. At first Cain mistook Meliodas as his own son, Meliodas instead pointed over to Rei and said that he was his adopted son. Cain was then enraged at the fact that the real Meliodas was in front of him and that he was the one who destroyed Danafor.

Rei only made some food for Cain as he knew the results. As just like he guessed, Cain believed that Meliodas didn't betray Danafor and came over to the stand.

”Here old man, have some food.” Rei said handing him rice with some beef on the sides.Rei watched as Cain's face seemed like it suddenly regained his youth and started to eat it before asking for seconds. Rei took the plate before handing him another portion.

It was at this moment that Rei and the others felt the presence of three strong holy knight approaching the area.

”Dad, we have to get everyone out of here.” Rei said as he deconstructed the shall and packed away.

”Yeah, you deal with any long ranged attacks.” Meliodas said as he and the rest of the group prepared to walk on stage.

”Diane nee san, take this first. Use it on you weapon and it'll shrink and grow with you.” Rei said giving her a seal. She nodded as saw Rei jumped up towards the tallest building in front of the arena.

Soon, a shower of fire balls could be seen.

Rei smiled as he jumped up as started to eat all of the magic shocking everyone.

Rei then shot out a stream of fire splitting the air and knocking the three holy knights off.
