71 Vampires of Edinburgh part 2 (2/2)

”I see that this is your first feeding...” Izraf said as he looked around before looking back at Rei.

”And you're still not calm yet. Truly a powerful bloodline purity you have. I know you can hear me so tell me. Would you like to join the vampire clan and rule the world. You can have all of the blood you want.” Izraf said trying to tempt Rei.

”All....the blood?” Rei repeated as his craving for blood was taking over his consciousness. Rei quickly shook his head trying to get the though out before looking at Izraf and launched towards him.

”Che you will regret that.” Izraf said as he launched his dark element towards Rei. Rei only grinned at opened his mouth eating the energy easily.

”What!!!” Izraf shouted seeing this.

Condensing seals into a pill of blood, Rei pushed his hands forward as the pill shot forward turning into a lance piercing the body of Izraf who had his guard down. He could only watch as Rei walked towards him with a wide grin showing off his fangs. He tried to get the blood lance out but was shocked to see his hand's burn at a single touch of the lance. Rei grabbed the lance as he cut through Izraf diagonally, bisecting the vampire king.

His wounds burn as he couldn't regenerate. Fear crept into his eyes as he saw the rest of his body slowly turn into just skin and bones as Rei drained him of his blood. Once he had finished, Rei looked over and saw Merlin and Escanor looking at him on guard. Rei could only clutch his head as he tried not to attack them. Soon, Rei could see the sun rise and Escanor getting stronger by the second. The allure of Escanor's blood overrided Rei's senses as he launched towards Escanor.

”Escanor, don't hurt him just restrain. I should be able to calm Rei chan down after some analysis on his blood.” Merlin said to Escanor.

”As you wish.” He spoke as he entered hand to hand combat with Rei as he knew Rei could eat all types of energy. Rei was soon overcome by Escanor as his body couldn't keep up with him anymore. Escanor pinned Rei to the ground with much difficulty trying to not let him move while Merlin took his blood sample and analysed it.

”Damn...The longer we wait the worse it would get. We need to get Rei more blood, the more the better. He needs it to calm his bloodline down, but where will we find such ridiculous amounts of blood....” Merlin frowned as she finished analysing.

”I can do it.” Ban spoke up as he had finished killing one of the vampire nobles.

”I'm immortal and my blood can regenerate without stop.” Ban said removing his arm guard to show off his wrist.

”What if you become a vampire?” Merlin said in worry.

”Don't worry about it, the vampire noble kept drinking my blood but didn't change. Something about me not being able to die and my immortality stops the transformation of me turning into a vampire. Now come on little guy, drink up.” Ban said as he crouched near Rei and held out his wrist.

Rei bit down without hesitation and started to drink the blood presented to him. Ban stumbled slightly as the speed of which Rei drank his blood was much quicker than he had thought.

It wasn't long until the other sins appeared having killed their enemies as well. They arrived to see the scene of Rei drinking away at Ban's blood. Every so often, his bloodshot eyes would reduce slightly returning some sanity to him but he couldn't stop. It was only after 3 hours did Rei stop and fall asleep.

”Sleep well little guy.” Ban said as he patted Rei's head and put his arm guard on once more.
