Wuxing took the bags full of ingredients to the kitchen, not worried by his wet shirt and started unpacking everything to the marble kitchen island. Everything he asked for was there and they even gave him prawns and two fish.

Wuxing didn't know what type it was, but there wasn't much philosophy in cooking a fish. He knew many ways of cooking it as he used to do so very often during his assassination missions into mountains.

He had to catch salmon from the river before grilling them above the fire. When he was bored with grilled fish meat, he started using other methods like boiling or steaming it which was also a good method.

He wasn't a master chef but if one competed with him in the field and survival cooking, he would definitely show some skills. Wuxing prepared everything that he wanted to use for dinner right away, especially fish and prawn so it wouldn't spoil in the plastic bags before leaving only pancakes ingredients in the kitchen, putting everything else into the fridge.

There was always a lot of discipline in his training, which also moved into Wuxing's daily life, mainly in keeping everything clean and well-organized. He wasn't a neat freak, but it wasn't a hard task to leave the space around you clean.

Hearing Dongmei still drying her hair, Wuxing pulled out many small bowls that the kitchen was fortunately accessorized with and started preparing the right amount of ingredients he would need for the two of them. Wuxing, of course, planned to prepare one portion for Dongmei, but at least three for himself. With the energy consumption of his ability, he had to eat a lot just in case.

With such preparation, it would be much easier for Dongmei to learn cooking. They would only need to mix everything together instead of just preparing them on the spot. Dongmei didn't look like she was a bad cook so he believed that there was a problem with her teacher instead.

Just then, the dryer in the bathroom stopped working and Dongmei walked out. It has already been five minutes since she started and Wuxing was almost done preparing everything. As she saw him in the kitchen, Dongmei looked at him with complicated gaze and skipped towards him instead of the closet.

Dongmei walked up next to him and began staring at his hands before asking curiously, ”You already prepared all of that? Is that for pancakes?” She obviously figured that out, but without knowing what to ask, Dongmei tried to start a conversation with him with such silly questions.

Instead of replying, Wuxing glanced at her with a warm smile, cleaned his hands under the water before drying them with a kitchen towel next to him. After that, he reached out to her and hugged her tightly once again. She thought he just wanted a deep hug so she returned it with a strength of her own but Wuxing suddenly lifted her towel and slapped her buttcheek creating a crisp sound in the process.

”Ah! Wuxing!” Naturally, Dongmei exclaimed while bending forward deeper into his embrace, before glaring at him as she let go of him. She wanted to be nice but he treated her like that.

He didn't react much to her scolding but instead grabbed her once again by her waist and gave her a quick peck on the lips before saying calmly, ”Go and get ready. I'm almost done with the preparation. If I'm not seeing you in five minutes, I will cook only for myself.”

His calm voice and gentle gaze didn't make it sound like he was joking, so Dongmei didn't hesitate to nod, forgetting about his slap just now. She really wanted to taste his cooking and now she didn't treat it as her order from before but rather favour he was giving her.

Earlier she wanted him to just be her servant in exchange for living in her apartment but everything changed so fast that her thinking also had to change. After all, she would not become this intimate with her servant.
