Chapter 351 – Fake Policemen (1/2)

Lui Dacai, who was slapped on the shoulders, was shocked as he stared at the person standing outside his car. This person should not be standing here. He had been looking at the hotel’s entrance without taking his eyes off. He swore that Dong Xuebing had not left the hotel. How did he appear behind him?

“Old Lui! Did you just finish work?” Dong Xuebing laughed.

Lui Dacai replied in a daze. “You got the wrong person.” He quickly tried to drive off.

Dong Xuebing slapped Lui Dacai’s shoulder again. “Lui Dafa! You think I cannot recognize you?! What’s wrong? Why are you pretending you don’t know me?”

Lui Dacai does not want to speak to Dong Xuebing. “I am not Lui Dafa!”

Slap! Dong Xuebing slapped Lui Dacai’s back again. “Old Lui, stop joking. I will recognize you even if you turn to ash. Where are you going? Give me a lift. I am going to the junction in front to buy a packet of cigarettes.” Dong Xuebing opened the passenger door and entered. “Go. It’s just about 100 meters in front.” Dong Xuebing knew this person is not Lui Dafa but is just trying to piss him off.

Lui Dacai was slapped on his back by Dong Xuebing three times, and his shoulder is hurting like hell. But he is guilty conscious and can only suppress his anger. He stepped on the accelerator and drove to the roadside cigarette store in front. His only thought is to quickly get away from Dong Xuebing!

Dong Xuebing alighted and slapped Lui Dacai’s back again. “Thanks, Old Lui.”

Lui Dacai doesn’t dare to stay there any longer and immediately drove off.

Dong Xuebing sneered and called Public Security Bureau’s Deputy Team Leader Feng. “Old Feng, I’m Dong Xuebing…. Yes… there is some problem. Bring a few of you men to Jia De Hotel. There is a case here… yes… I will tell you the details later… alright… Bye.” Dong Xuebing kept his phone and bought a packet of Yu Xi cigarettes from the store before strolling back to the hotel. He leaned against a wall outside of the hotel and smoke a cigarette quietly.

After a while, the three officers walked out of the hotel. They had not completed the order given to them and are pissed. They had searched Room 603 thoroughly. They found a woman, but the main lead is not in the room. The only explanation is they had received the wrong info.

“Hey!” Dong Xuebing laughed and snubbed his cigarette. “Attending to a case?”

The three officers looked up and were startled. “… Chief Dong?!”

None of them expected to see Dong Xuebing here and were stunned.

The Officer in front quickly laugh. “No need… no need… we are just doing our duties.”

Another Officer wiped the sweat off his forehead. “That’s right. We had not done anything special.”

Dong Xuebing extended his hand. “Just give me your work pass. You all should be rewarded for your hard work. I was also from the Public Security Bureau, and I understand it’s tough being an Officer on the ground.”

The three Officers are unwilling to identify themselves, as they know Chief Dong is a revengeful person. It’s best to avoid him, but after what Dong Xuebing said, they had no choice. Furthermore, Chief Dong is no longer a leader within the Public Security Bureau. It was the higher-ups who ordered them to raid Dong Xuebing’s hotel room. They exchanged looks and reached into their pockets.

“Eh?” An Officer paused and started emptying his pockets.

“Ah? Where is my identification card?” Another Officer gasped.

“Mine is also missing!” The third Officer panicked. “My identification card and wallet are missing!”

The three Officers do not know what was happening. They had shown their Police Identification Card when they entered the hotel. Why are their passes missing suddenly?

Dong Xuebing was waiting for this moment. His face suddenly changed, and points at those three Officers. “I thought you all are hardworking Officers! You all are impersonating Police Officers! Where is your Police Identification Card?! Where is your personal ID? Driving license?! What?! You don’t have any identification on you all?!” Dong Xuebing shouted and attracted many bystanders. “You all don’t bring your Police Identification Card with you when you attend to cases?! Who are you trying to trick?! You think buying a Police Uniform, and you are an Officer?! Ah?! You all dare to impersonate Police Officers in front of me?!”

The crowd heard it and started shouting.

“They are criminals! Arrest them!”

“That’s right! Call the Police! These fake Policemen are too much!”

“My son was conned by these fake Officers! Those bastards!”

The three Officers quickly explain. “We are really Police Officers from the City Police Station. Our Identification Cards were still with us. We might have misplaced it!”

Dong Xuebing sneered. “Do you even believe what you said? Do you think it’s so easy to fool me?!”

The Officer is panicking. “I am telling the truth. My wallet and work pass might be pickpocketed!”

Suddenly, two Police cars with siren and blinkers on arrived. The Police cars parked by the roadside, and Deputy Team Leader Feng and his men rushed over. Although Dong Xuebing is no longer a Leader with the Public Security Bureau, Deputy Team Leader Feng still respects him. That’s why he rushed over after receiving Dong Xuebing’s call.
