Chapter 129 - Why Ananya? (1/2)

Rere tried to escape, but Prince Ahmed's bodyguard stopped her. She bit his hand and kicked the guard in the groin.

”Where are you going?” Prince Ahmed put his hand on his hips.

Rere was shaking and shivering. She couldn't hold herself back anymore when the man called her 'Ananya'. She didn't want to be the man's tool to vent his frustration. The man still has a grudge against Dino, which meant Prince Ahmed had planned something bad for her. Rere's mind screamed, hoping someone can help her escape from that place. The possibility is definitely there even if it's small. Rere usually yields, but she is optimistic now. She still has some hope.

Rere couldn't go down the stairs because Prince Ahmed's bodyguards were there. She hid behind a pile of unused items that were deliberately placed there. There was a special room for the storage of goods on the rooftop. She hid there even though the chances of being found were big.

”Where are you going, Rere?” Prince Ahmed laughed earnestly.

”You won't be able to leave. You and Ananya have a lot in common. Be a good girl and be my wife, Rere. Leave Dino. I will love your child as my own child,” Prince Ahmed said sweetly but it sounded like a curse in Rere's ears.

”Find her!” Prince Ahmed ordered his guards.

Two men dressed in black walked around the rooftop looking for Rere. They smiled happily at Rere's back. They grabbed Rere and took her to Prince Ahmed.

”Let me go!” Rere rebelled.

”Where are you going, honey?” Prince Ahmed tried to touch Rere, but Rere pushed his hand away.

Rere refused Prince Ahmed's touch. Her chest rumbled with anger. Why was he so crazy and ambitious?

”Don't be so fierce, dear. Why are you so fierce? I like a tender woman, not a grumpy one like you.”

”I don't want you to touch me.”

Prince Ahmed put his arm around Rere and took her to see the stars in the sky. The sky is very clear making them get a clear view of the star. Prince Ahmed grabbed Rere from behind and pushed her. He only threatened her, not pushed her down. The man pressed Rere's neck so the woman looked down at the height. Rere shuddered.

Rere's heart seemed to stop beating when she looked down. This palace is very high. If prince Ahmed throws her from here, she will definitely die.

”You see below there?” Prince Ahmed spoke loudly.

The night wind pierced Rere's skin. The woman was helpless. She cried and hoped that help would come soon.

”Save me, Dino. If this is really the end of my life, at least I want to see your face before I close my eyes,” Rere whispered inside her heart.

”Beg me not to kill you.”

Rere didn't move to heed Prince Ahmed's words. Besides her tears, there is no answer to the man's question. She hoped this was just a dream, not a reality!

”Answer me! Begging me to let you go!” Prince Ahmed grabbed Rere's hair. ”Don't make me angry!”

”Your Highness, please forgive me,” Rere said at last. She saw the helicopter from afar. She was sure the helicopter came to save her. Rere racked her brains to buy some time.

”Very nice,” Prince Ahmed let go of his grip on Rere's hair and dragged Rere to sit on the chair where they had eaten.

Prince Ahmed helped Rere sit down and put a napkin around her neck. The man even fed Rere a Wagyu A5 steak. Although her throat was bitter, Rere tried to swallow the food. She still has some hope. Someone will save her.

”Why are you stubborn? There is no need to resort to violence if you just listen to me.”

”I'm sorry,” Rere softly answered expressionlessly.

”Pretty sweet. You are cuter than Ananya.”

”Your Highness. What is your definition of love?”
