Chapter 124 - Lost Track (2/2)

”Where am I?”

”We are at the bar. Of course, you're in the hospital.”

”What about Uncle Lutfi and Reyhan?” Dino asked.

”Uncle Lutfi died because he was eaten by a piranha. Reyhan was also rushed to the hospital. Both his legs were amputated.”

”Oh my.” Dino rubbed his face roughly. ”Why is all this happening to me, Bar? Why does Prince Ahmed always harass my family?”

”He's crazy for his unrequited love. Since Ananya can't love him back, he wants to hurt you. He feels you snatched his happiness.”

”Ananya is dead, Bar.” Dino looks frustrated.

”But his grudge never dies. He doesn't want to see you happy. Ahmed is a psychopath.”

”He's crazy.” Dino cursed prince Ahmed.

”A psychopath is very anti-social and tends to be introverted. A psychopath can fall deeply in love.” Raline gave her response as a doctor. ”He believes he is doing this to make Ananya happy.”

”Means?” Dino did not understand Raline's words.

”If the prince is as crazy as Bara said, then he is very dangerous. He will not stop here. A person with psychopathic tendencies can fall in love. Unfortunately, their form of love for others is perceived as ”different” and tends to be dysfunctional. Psychologically, with a psychopathic tendency to focus more on self-satisfaction. In fact, in every human relationship, understanding is needed from both parties to exchange empathy. This is due to a state of impaired brain function in terms of self-processing. He has difficulty giving meaning to a romantic relationship. Prince Ahmed will stop if he sees Dino at his lowest point. He still blames Dino for Ananya's death. The point is he doesn't like seeing Dino happy because he feels Dino snatched his happiness.”

Dino could only stroke his chest, hearing Raline's response as a doctor. For some reason, Dino thought of Rere and felt bad.

”Bar, call Rere. I have a bad hunch,” Dino trembled.

Bara took the cell phone and called Rere, but got no answer.

”She did not answer.”

The ringing of Bara's cell phone caught everyone's attention. The man immediately picked up the call from his wife.

”Bar, Rere is missing,” Dila broke out in cold sweat.

”What? Stop joking, honey.” Bara could not believe his wife's words.

”Do I look like I'm joking? I came back from the supermarket. Rere wasn't in the room. The nurse said Rere had not come home yet. The administration hasn't issued a warrant to go home.”

”Oh god.” Bara was shocked.

”Rere.” Dino got up from the bed but screamed in pain because he had just finished surgery. He couldn't stand up yet. The gunshot wound to his leg hasn't healed yet.

”Dino, don't move yet. You haven't recovered yet.” Dian helped Dino lie down on the bed.

”I'll call Jimmy, boss. We have to file a police report on Rere's disappearance.” Dian looked at Bara.

Everyone in the room was shocked. Raline stroked her distended stomach. She was shocked to hear the news about Rere.

”I don't think you should report it to the police yet. Rere hasn't been missing for twenty-four hours,” Kevan looks panicked and thinks about how to save Rere.

”Please save Rere,” Dino looked at Diann expectantly. ”I don't want to lose my wife for the second time. If I wasn't hurt, I might be the one looking for her.”

”No, calm down. You're not alone.” Bara encouraged Dino.

”Let me go.” Rere rebelled when two men dressed in black dragged her onto the helicopter.

Dila said goodbye to buying food at the supermarket, leaving her alone. While packing her clothes, two people entered the treatment room. They drugged Rere until she passed out.

Rere doesn't know where she is now. They are on the beach. She was sure she was not in Indonesia.

”Move,” The two men who kidnapped her force Rere into a helicopter. They will take them to their boss's place.

The helicopter departs for its destination. Rere was confused because she couldn't ask for help. She was terrified.

”Where are you taking me?” Rere asked in a trembling voice.

”You'll find out later.”

”I want to go home. I want to meet my kids.” Rere whined.

”None of our business.”

”You guys are cruel.”

”It is our job.”

Rere shivered in fear. Her body shook violently. She had goosebumps at the thought of those two men killing her.”

”Let go of me. I'll give you the money. How much you want,” Rere tried to negotiate.

”We don't need your money. We know you are rich, but we are loyal to our boss.”

”Let me go. If you let me go. I will never forget your services.”

”Don't talk too much. Shut up, or we'll drug you.”

”Fine, I'll be quiet.” Rere couldn't talk to the two kidnappers. Better to be silent than to be sedated. Rere was afraid that the two men would hurt her when she passed out. She was afraid those people would sexually harass her.

A helicopter carrying them landed in a field of green grass. Rere was brought down. They let go of Rere's handcuffs. The two kidnappers were sure that Rere couldn't escape because they were on this island. Access to the island is very difficult. They use helicopters as transportation.
