Chapter 120 - Strengthen Each Other (2/2)

.

”Stop it, Re. Do not Cry anymore. We cannot drown in this sadness. The child is in heaven. He will be waiting for us in heaven.”

”I haven't...”

”I know it's not easy but...,” Dino stopped.

”But what?”

”Our cries will not bring him back, Re .”

”The disease made me not aware that I was pregnant. Why do I have PCOS? What did I do wrong that God punished me?”

”God doesn't punish you. God is just testing us. God knows that you can endure this ordeal.”

”Am I?” Rere felt insecure.

”God will not test a servant beyond the ability of the servant himself. You are the chosen woman. No… we, the chosen parents. God gives us a trial by taking our child. There will be a rainbow after the rain, Re. Trust me.” Dino held both of Rere's cheeks. He rubbed his nose against Rere's nose.

”We are strong Re. We are strong parents. I promise to you.”

”Promise what?”

”I will find the culprit. I won't let him get away after harming you.”

”Are you sure you can catch him?”

”I'm positive. I'll look for him even in the ant hole. I'm not the old Dino anymore. I will not be silent anymore.”

”Kiss me,” Rere asked him, whining.

Dino kissed Rere with a blue feeling. The two of them tried to support each other even though the wound was gaping. Dino was curious about Tom's investigation. Dino vowed to give him a proper recompense. There is no mercy for the man who has harmed Rere.

”It's late. Let's go to sleep.” Dino laid Rere on the bed and covered her up to her chest.

”Man, I'm scared.” Rere grabbed Dino's hand.

”Calm down. No one will hurt you. I'm here.” Dino convinced Rere.

Morning has come. The sun appeared shyly on the horizon. The sky was so bright blue but it looked gray in Dino's eyes. The piercing cold air pricked the skin. Dino's eyes didn't blink when he looked at the sky, hoping his unborn baby could be happy in heaven.

”I hope you know that dad is saddened by your passing, son,” Dino wiped his tears.

Rere blinked as she opened her eyes, watching Dino who looked at the blue sky. Rere rubbed her eyes. Rere also still cannot move on from the pain

of losing their baby.

”No,” she called Dino softly.

Dino turned around and approached her, ”You're awake?” Dino smiled at his wife.

”Since when did you wake up?”

”Just some time ago.”

”Are you okay?”

”I am getting better, it's not hurt anymore. How about you?” Rere wanted to stand up.

Dino quickly helped his wife to stand while holding the IV.

”Why are you awake?” Dino stroked Rere's cheek

”Want to pee.” Rere smiled.

”Want me to help you?” Dino was seen teasing his wife.

”Do not tease me.” Rere smiled shyly, looking at Dino.

”Teasing? At least I can help you take off your pants.” Dino winked.
