”You really scared at Bara.” Dino laughed at his wife when Bara hung up the call.
”Don't smile.”
”Are you afraid that I will charm and bewitch you with the attraction of a handsome widower?” Dino smiled. If Rere got angry when he smiled, then Dino would like to smile as often as possible in front of his wife. ”I was wrong. I'm not a widower anymore. Are you afraid of being ensnared by your husband's charm?” Dino repeated the question.
Rere didn't answer him and instead walked away from Dino.
”Mommy, answer me.” Dino giggled seeing Rere's departure.
”I will be going to see the kids,” Rere said from the door. Just showing his head.
”Yes, mommy.”
”You are annoying.” Rere slammed the door hard.
”Don't be too angry at me, honey, you'll fall in love harder,” Dino chuckled after Rere left.
The man took the laptop and checked his work. As a CEO at a leading advertising company in KL, the man couldn't just leave his job. They will be meeting with GV Entertainment for a traditional drink commercial project. Dino is checking the advertising concept sent by the marketing team. It was Dino who decided what kind of advertisement to offer to customers, the man even chooses who is the actor for their advertising model.
Dino is busy with his work. He is busy analyzing the concept of advertising. For this drink advertisement, Dino does not agree with the concept of the marketing team. He thinks that the advertising concept is too old and has been used by other advertising companies.
The ringing of the phone caught Dino's attention. The man took the cell phone from the nightstand.
Dino's brow furrowed when he found Gesa's name. The man slides the green button on the phone screen to answer the call. ”Hello.”
”Dino,” said Gesa softly in a weak voice.
”How are you?” Dino small talk.
”I'm fine.”
”Thank God.”
”I am sorry,” Gesa suddenly said in a choked voice. For some reason, she feels like she can't find her own voice to talk to Dino.
”What for?” Dino is confused. Gesa's attitude was very strange, unlike the Gesa he knew. Dino knows Gesa quite a bit because she is Ananya's assistant and is very close to his family.
”Sorry for not coming to your and Rere's wedding.”
”It is okay. You must have an important business so you can't come. You just need to send us your blessing so our marriage will last till death.”
It hurts just to hear you say such a thing. Gesa muttered.
”Congratulations on your marriage, Dino.” Gesa felt bitter when she said those words. Honestly, she couldn't even congratulate Dino and Rere on their wedding. Gesa should be the one to be Dino's wife, not Rere.
”Thank you. Did you get sick?”
”I just don't feel great. It's okay. I've been taking medicine.”
”Take care of your health, okay?”
”Thank you, Dino.”
”Gesa.”
”Yes.” Gesa didn't realize that Dino called him as she was in her daydreams a lot lately.
”You haven't told me Ananya's last words before she died. Can you tell me now? Yesterday you didn't get to say it because we were busy running away from Prince Ahmed's men.”
”It's not important anymore. You are already married to Rere.”
