Chapter 8：Return to Jakarta (1/2)
Tia and Rere ran out of breath. Gesa separated from them. When they were about to leave the hospital it turned out that the criminals were still waiting. The taxi they were riding in turned out to have been sabotaged. Taxi drivers are criminals. They were taken to a quiet place. They ran apart to save themselves.
They were forced to save themselves. Gesa ran into the forest. Tia and Rere also entered the forest but they ran in the opposite direction to Gesa.
They ventured into the forest to avoid the criminals. What dreams Rere could have had this bad incident. Successful exams came to her. Oh my God… ..Rere said to herself.
The two increasingly entered the forest. They ignored the sound of warning shots as if the fear had disappeared. Rere's leg was in pain from being stabbed by a sharp rock. They both did not wear sandals because they took off while running.
Rere and Tia arrived in front of a river. They immediately finished their thirst by drinking river water. Dark and tense atmosphere without lighting. The fear seemed to disappear. The important thing is they survived the criminal's chase.
Tia and Rere soak their feet in the water. Their leg muscles relax from being worn all day long.
”Gesa where is she?” Rere is still thinking about the fate of other people. It's good to be too excited.
”Let's just pray that Gesa can run away like us.”
”Tia, should we just report to the police?”
”It could be Re, but I'm not sure the police will accept our report. I think killer Ananya's wanted to kill both of you. This murder mastermind was no ordinary person. He must have a strong connection. Seeing the criminals, they look like Royal people. ”
”Huss. Don't talk carelessly Tia. ”
”I'm not talking carelessly. My feelings say so. ”
”How about our college?”
”Our lives are more valuable than college. Your family connections can help us go to college anywhere. ”
”Responsibility. We'll be graduating soon. ”
”What responsibility do you want your life to be at stake?”
Rere was silent. She took in Tia's words.
”How do we get back Tia? They already know my apartment. ”
”Tomorrow we think. Tomorrow morning we have to get out of the forest. We don't go any deeper. I'm afraid if we get further away and can't get out of the forest because we got lost. ”
”You are right.”
When they are asleep sleeping. They listen to a woman's scream. Tia and Rere wake up. They are alert.
”That's not Gesa's voice,” Rere said.
Rere and Tia looked at each other. They could vaguely see Gesa running away from the criminals. Panic, of course, they panic.
”Geez. They are eager to find us, ”said Tia quietly.
Gesa continued to avoid the criminals. Even though her feet hurt from running barefoot. The girl is determined to live to reveal the death of Ananya's. Until whenever she will not be willing if Ananya is blasphemed by society. The reputation that had been built had been destroyed by slander.
”Tia, Rere,” called Gesa when approaching the two. The three of them embraced emotionally.
”Are you okay?” Rere looked at Gesa.
”Forgive me. Because of me, Ananya in danger. You can leave me. ”
”Never mind. Don't talk about this. We have to get out of here. ”
The three of them ran into the forest. The criminals gave warning shots so they wouldn't run. Rere fell because he tripped over a rock. Gesa and Tia help them. The criminals aimed a gun at Rere. When the man was about to open fire someone hit the man in the head until he was unconscious.
”Uncle Mutu,” said Tia and Rere.
”Are you all right?” Uncle Quality is close to all three.
The sound of gunfire was heard shouting at each other. It looks like there is a great battle going on.
”What's that sound Uncle?” Rere was terrified to hear screams and moans for help.
”No need to worry. That's reinforcements. Why can't your number Uncle call? ”
”I changed the number.”
