Wednesday-Morning

Li Wei was looking at some of his documents for his morning meeting when his phone ringing interrupted his thoughts. Seeing that it was his mother he put down his files, ”Hello, mother.” Li Wei said with a smile.

[My dear son, why haven't you been calling me?] Madam Li said with sadness in her voice.

Standing and grabbing his jacket, ”Mother, you and I both know that you want to ask another question.” Li Wei stated putting on his jacket and picking up his files.

Madam Li let out a sigh, [You're right! As you know your dear grandfather is having his 70th birthday party and you must attend. Also, you should bring along your secret girlfriend.]

Getting into his car, Li Wei let out a sigh, ”Mother, as I told you before I'll introduce you when the time is right.”

[I know but I just can't kill my curiosity.]

Leaning back in his car, Li Wei took a moment and thought about what his mother said, ”Mother, I have a proposal. I'll talk to my girlfriend and see if she is comfortable attending the party, but if she is not then you'll promise me to wait until we're ready to publicize our relationship.”

Madam Li couldn't keep the glee from her voice, [Of course! I'll have my fingers crossed that your secret girlfriend agrees with your proposal.]

Hanging up the phone, Li Wei let out a sigh and started his car to go to his company. Even though he told his mother that he would talk to Fan MeiLi, he couldn't help the smile that his plan is coming along perfectly. Once his mother saw his girlfriend then she would believe the rumors and let him work in peace.

Arriving at the company he got a text from Mo Han after he read it the message darkness formed in his eyes. Driving away from the company he made a call to his office when he heard Fan MeiLi answer the phone he didn't wait a second.

[CEO Li's office, how may I...]

”Miss Fan, I don't have a lot of time so I'll be quick. I need you to reschedule all my morning meetings and get the PR department to kill an article that is set to release in two days about my company.”
